[SOGo] Calender events deleted after upgrade 1.3.17 to 1.3.18
Hi all, I'm running SOGo with MySQL on a x86 Debian Stable server using the Inverse packages from the Inverse apt repository. I recently upgraded 1.3.17-1 to the latest 1.3.18-1. Shortly after the upgrade, I started getting complaints from users that some current and future events had vanished from a shared calendar. This calendar is the main focus of use in our company; there might well have been similar on personal calendars, but they are lightly used and I have not had a report. Poking around in the database, I find the events are present in the main table but marked as deleted (c_deleted is 1). They have been removed from the corresponding _quick table. Has anyone else seen similar? And is there a way I can undelete the events? Thanks. -- Jim Hague - jim.ha...@acm.org Never trust a computer you can't lift. -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

We use a mixed authentication with AD-Auth (for the Staff) and MySQL-Auth for guests or external staff, which runs quite good. "Parameter used to specify if, when logging in to the IMAP server, the primary email address of the user will be used instead of the username." But which passwort is used to login into the Imap-Server? Or must the login data come from the same database as the imap-server use? When you log in to SOGo, you use a password. This is checked against your authentication source. With SOGoForceIMAPLoginWithEmail set the mail address from your user data set is used to log in to your IMAP server, not the SOGo user name. That's all. The password is still the same. With IMAPLoginFieldName you can set any other field in you authentication source for yor IMAP user name. I'm still ignorant on the issue, but obviously starting samba using /usr/sbin/samba is substantively different that with /usr/sbin/smbd (which is what the init script uses). Do you know the difference? smbd does not start ldap and port 135, but is started as a child process using the samba executable. The init script for samba4 on rhel starts smbd, I fixed it yesterday to start 'samba' instead. The new init script will be available with the next samba build, meanwhile, either start it manually like you did, or replace 'smbd' by 'samba' in the current init script. [SOGo] Migrate vCalendar 1.0 to 2.0 ?
Hello, I have many old calendar entries in SOGo in Vcalendar 1.0 format. Unfortunally this gives problems when I try to sync them with my new Androis ICS mobile. It worked fine with the old Anrdoi 2.3.x version. The problem is, that the ICS Calendar does not accept the RRULE in Vcalendar 1.0 format, it requires Vcalendar 2.0 Ist there a way to upgrade all my old 2.1.0 entries to the new 2.0 format ? With a fresh profile with extensions version 10.0.3 it is not working. With a fresh profile and integrator 10.0.2 and connector 10.0.3 is it working. With a former 10.0.2 profile and both 10.0.3 extension it is working. So the problem seems to be introduced with the integrator extension version 10.0.3.
