Re: [SOGo] Recall of Send Mails

2013-03-06 Thread Martin (Lists)
Hallo

This only works if the receiver side uses exchange and if it is enabled.
Otherwise you get another mail which notes that a given mail is recalled
(if I get those mails i am curious to read the original mail).

Martin

Re: [SOGo] Recall of Send Mails

2013-03-06 Thread André Schild

Hello Harish,

  yes, I know about that feature in exchange.

  No, SOGo does not support this, because the SMTP protocol has no
  such "feature"

  http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recall_a_message

  In MS Exchange this also only works reliably inside the company,
  as soon as the mail is sent outside your company
  you can't recall/delete it.
  So it's a half-working feature of microsoft.

Is there a hint in the following? RFC 5746 on an Apple server?

RFC 5746 involves SSL/TLS renegotiations.

Is there a Java applet running on the server? Sometimes a Java applet

Old password from SOGo cache need to expire to take into account new
password set with smb-ldap.

If you want to see password change immediately, restart memcached.
In the nightly builds, this is not true anymore when using the login
page:
https://github.com/inverse-inc/sogo/commit/451c82c8154b4e2bd4fb4cee5bded7109a1e1942

https://github.com/inverse-inc/sogo/commit/7b5da8a2c9a30d36969fa6aa09b8e168f3e6e243

The cache is still used for dav access though.

Great!

Thank you,
Igor

Hi,

I'd like to tune our SOGo instalation and changing the userpassword from
there would be nice.

So I enabled SOGoPasswordChangeEnabled and can change my password.

After that I cant login with my old password on my email clients. Good.

I can login with the new password to SOGo and my mailclient. Good.

But!

As we use posix and samba accounts in our LDAP directory the ntlm
password is not changed.

And after resetting my password with the smb-ldap tools to my original
one, I cant use that one with SOGo.

I still can login to SOGo with the changed password, but I dont get any
mailfolders

May be somewone can explain me what happens?

Thanks and regards . Götz

Old password from SOGo cache need to expire to take into account new password
set with smb-ldap.
If you want to see password change immediately, restart memcached.

In the nightly builds, this is not true anymore when using the login page:
https://github.com/inverse-inc/sogo/commit/451c82c8154b4e2bd4fb4cee5bded7109a1e1942
https://github.com/inverse-inc/sogo/commit/7b5da8a2c9a30d36969fa6aa09b8e168f3e6e243

The cache is still used for dav access though.

Igor

Yes - if you find bugs, file them and we will fix them. It's still part
of SOGo and thus, maintained.

Re: [SOGo] sogosync and html email

2013-03-06 Thread Michael
Hi Sven, Actually I am having a problem with PHP-Push-2; I configured
config.php and email works fine but CalDAV and CardDAV doesn't.

When I set  ('BACKEND_PROVIDER', "BackendCombined");

the devices fail to set up/initialise.

However when I set define('BACKEND_PROVIDER', "BackendIMAP"); the
devices set up but no calendar or contacts.

Here is the config.php for caldav and carddav:

// **
//  BackendCalDAV settings
// **
define('CALDAV_SERVER', 'https://sogo.example.com');
define('CALDAV_PORT', '443');
define('CALDAV_PATH', '/SOGo/dav/%u/');
define('CALDAV_PERSONAL', 'personal'); //Personal CalDAV folder

// **
//  BackendCardDAV settings
// **
define('CARDDAV_SERVER', 'https://sogo.example.com');
define('CARDDAV_PORT', '443');
define('CARDDAV_PATH', '/SOGo/dav/%u/');
define('CARDDAV_PRINCIPAL', 'Contacts'); //Personal CardDAV folder

Did you manage to get contacts and calendar working with PHP-Push-2 and
SOGo ?

Regards, Michael.

Hi Michael,

sogosync hasn't been updated in 4 month so the support for HTML emails is not
integrated.
It was released with zpush 2.0.6 I think.
You either have to merge a new version of zpush with sogoync, basically just
copy the files from the latest zpush release into sogosync and save the files
config.php and backend/combined/config.php
before you do it. After the merge copy them back into place.
Another good alternative which is more up to date is
https://github.com/dupondje/PHP-Push-2 .
It shares the same code but is still maintained.

[SOGo] Domain join issue

2013-03-06 Thread Dirk Werner
Hi Olivier,
my mails since yesterday evening didn't go through to the list anymore,
don't know why. I'll start a new subject and see if that works out.

You had proposed:

server as main DNS server?

On The Win7 client there's only the sogo server set as dns server. I
have stopped and restarted Samba, the file log.samba is very big, here's
