[SOGo] Calendars, CalDav and Thunderbird/Lightning
Hi again, I've got to the point where I've migrated a small domain to a ZEG applicance and all is now more-working-than-not. I can CalDav from my Android no issue and web interface works fine. Setting up my Sogo calendar in lightning has resulting in me seeing (Public event). I *think* this is because I initially installed Lighting and the SOGo Connector when having a configured sogo1 user. I now have my own IMAP account in Thunderbird. I've uninstalled Lighting and the connector, restart and re-installed but there is no change, when adding my own calendar I see Public Event. Is it possible the connector has the sogo1 user cached somewhere? The calendar seems to work correctly between the SOGo webinterface and my Android phone. Any help much appreciated. [SOGo] a way to reload configuration?
Hi all, We've been running SOGo for a few days, and today I've made some small config changes in our /etc/sogo/sogo.conf on debian. However, it seems these canges are not picked up 'on the fly', and /etc/init.d/sogo reload doesn't work..? (only start|stop|restart|status) So... Is there a 'nice' way to ask sogo to reload it's config file? (nice as in: no user interrruption) Regards, MJ -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: Re: [SOGo] sogo freezes when booting from vmdk

[SOGo] Feature requests - How?
Hi! How can I do some feature requests so that the developer are seeing them? Are they reading this mailing list or is there another channel for that? By now I have for small things: 1. It would be great if the threaded view of mails would only do that with mails that are threaded via the References- and In-Reply-To-header - but not via a subject with the same content. This could be switched via an option. The background: I'm getting many notifications with an identical subject. (like New answer in forum test). These mails don't belong in one thread. 2. When replying to a replied message the quote signs should be compacted. Explanation: When I reply to a message the quoted messages looks like this: quoted text. When quoting this quoted text, the system should make a quoted text - but by now it does a quoted text (there is a space between the first and second ) 3. The option for viewing mails in thread view should be made switchable directly in the mail folders. 4. It would be great if there was an option to mark all messages as read when right-clicking on a mail folder. Thanks! Michael -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: Re: [SOGo] outlook native 2003 2010, crash
Thank you ! This misbehaviour was caused by running outlook in uncached mode ! I am looking foraward to 2.0.5 :) I need bullet prove sync.. what is the best way to import emails from pst file to sogo accont ? I have thought with just move them within Outlook will sync them to sogo account .. but it doesnt look to work .. the result seems to crash of server openchange part -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

One thing that could help is adding the 'panic action' to the samba configuration in order to get a gdb backtrace if samba panics. To do so, fetch the gdb_backtrace script from the samba git repo and make sure it is executable: curl 'http://git.samba.org/?p=samba.git;a=blob_plain;f=selftest/gdb_backtrace;hb=HEAD' /usr/local/bin/gdb_backtrace chmod +x /usr/local/bin/gdb_backtrace Then add the following line to the [global] section of smb.conf: panic action = /usr/local/bin/gdb_backtrace %d This will log a backtrace in the samba log whenever it crashes. Also, make sure to install the following packages in order to get a meaningful trace: openchangeserver-dbg sogo-dbg sope4.9-dbg Hopefully we'll be able to catch the bug with this. --Gerhard [2013/04/07 20:24:46, 0] ../lib/util/util.c:457(dump_data) [] 00 00 04 00 0D 00 0D 00 09 00 4E 00 00 BE BA C0 ..N. Re: Re: [SOGo] Samba4 Crash
Looks like I'll wait for the 2.0.5 release and re-deploy/re-test. BTW - I populated the ZEG mailboxes first using imapsync from the client's existing mail server. Out of the 10+ users, I had trouble with 2 of them. Apparently, there are existing messages that Openchange is choking on. It may have to do with calendar appointment invites. I'm still investigating, but I'll wait for 2.0.5 before continuing. -- Scott -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
