Maximize the window, then filter on "calendar.reg" (minus the quotes)

Look for two entries for each calendar:

calendar.registry.X.disabled
calendar.registry.X.readOnly

where X is a string associated with the SOGO internal calendar ID.

Dbl-click the .disabled entry to re-enable it.

IF the Calendar is supposed to be writeable, then do the same for the
readOnly entry.

The name for each Calendar will be between these two entries for each
one (see attached screenshot).

Note: Don't change the readOnly setting if the Calendar is, in fact,
supposed to be readOnly.

This has fixed it for me on multiple systems.

In our case lightning was stuck at version 4.0.0.X (due to us pinning the
lightning version). After we allowed the upgrade to 4.0.2 calendars were
still disabled and read-only; we had to manually reenable the calendars and
set them read-write where appropriate directly in the config editor.

Ok, I'm experiencing a similar problem with one user...

If I uninstall Lightning and Connector/Integrator, her personal Calendar
comes back... for a while...

Then at some future time, it beclomes locked and unchecked/disabled, and
I am unable to re-enable it with the GUI.

I'll test to see if doing this in the Config Editor keeps it working.

Can you elaborate though on how many entires need to be changed?

Thanks,

Charles

Hi,

my Personal Calendar and two other of my Calendars are also locked since
some days. (Thunderbird 38.2.0, Lightning 4.0.2, Connector/Integrator
31.0.1)
If I right click on my personal calendar and then on settings, I can
open the settings dialog window.

Only the checkbox for calendar activation is accessible.
If I activate it, and/or-not-and uncheck the Write protection checkbox,
it is not possible to close the dialog window by clicking OK.

Nothing happens if I click on OK, only Chancel works.

1. Inverse - any idea?

2. Question: what does Config Editor mean? Where can I find it?

Kind regards,

Re: [SOGo] How do I delete all data (events, recurring events, tasks, etc) in personal calendar

2015-09-02 Thread RalfK

Thunderbird Calendar:
Open calendar tab and do a search (Termine und Aufgaben;Termine suchen -
German version) with nothing in the search field. As a result you will
see all events. After selecting them just delete them.

Thunderbird Tasks:
Quite similar. Open the task tab, select the tasks in question and
delete them.

Hope this helps

It seems like this is an Exchange limitation. Am I correct?

What can I do about this? Can SOGo be told to add a field to the contact

Actually, this problem only occurs, if I use Exchange sync on the iPhone. With
cardDav, the contacts are all intact.

No contacts were actually corrupted, it is just the iPhone not syncing
correctly.

[SOGo] How do I delete all data (events, recurring events, tasks, etc) in personal calendar

2015-09-02 Thread Charles Marcus
Subject is the question.

I can't seem to find a way to do this either from Thunderbird or the
SOGo web gui...

I know I can supposedly see all of the Events (and Tasks) in the little
list view header above the calendar day view pane, but not all of the
Events showing in the Calendar Pane are showing in this list view.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm asking, because, until I found a way to fix the issue of this users
Personal Calenmdar constantly breaking (disabled, read-only, unable to
re-enable it), I created a new Temp calendar, exported the events from
her Personal Calendar in the web GUI (it was never affected) and
imported them to the new Temp Calendar.

Now that I know how to fix this, I want to export everything from her
Temp Calendar and dump it back into her Personal Calendar - but
obviously she doesn't want to have duplicates, so I need to delete
everything first...

How to do that?
