SOGo is developed pretty much exclusively by Inverse.

Zentyal is a heavy contributor to OpenChange and also contributes
patches to the SOGo-OpenChange backend which gets merged by Inverse.

2015-09-10 Thread Kevin Laurie
Hi,
i am new to SOGo and I think its a great project. I am looking for
several features as listed below:-

1. Two-factor auth
2. multiple SMTP identities( one account with multiple identities)
3. ACL Control (one user with multiple inboxes)

Could someone help explain how to get the points listed above working?

Thanks and Best Regards

Can someone explain me the relation between Inverse and Zentyal regarding
development efforts. I understand that Julian Kerihuel has been hired by
Zentyal some time ago, which explains why openchange improvements are coming
from that direction. How about SOGo? Is this still primarily developed by
Inverse and only imported by Zentyal later? Or has there been some recent
Zentyal investment in Inverse / it’s develper(s)?

I am asking since I want to know which packages to use best: Inverse or
Zentyal. I am interested in both SOGo and Openchange to be clear.

Regards
M.

[SOGo] Problem: Proxy error when try to do mail forwarding

2015-09-10 Thread Hartmut Raithel
Hello all,

after (more or less) successfull migration of SOGo 2.3.0 on a new installed
ubuntu trusty box, our users are often facing reproducible problems with
mail forwarding. When trying to forward a mail, the users are getting an
Apache “Proxy Error” instead of the mail-form:

##

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request
 GET /SOGo/so/aaasys08a/Mail/0/folderINBOX/415/forward.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

##

Kindly see attached logfile parts (hmm are attachments allowed at these
list?) – one with the log when the error occurs and the other while opening
the forward form without any problem. The only difference between the two
mails is that the not-working one contains six png pictures attached.

Any suggestions about this? Should I rise a bug?

Thanks and regards

Hartmut

Works fine with chrome but it hangs with firefox (I tried firefox 38.2.1
esr under windows, and 40.0.3 under Linux).

The "non responding script" alert appears several times:

  angular.min.js:182
  angular-material.js:15101
  angular-material.js:15101

after 10 minutes I stopped it.

[SOGo] Calendar colors won't stick when changed from Thunderbird...

2015-09-10 Thread Tanstaafl
Hello,

We recently started experiencing the problem with the calendars locking,
but installed the 4.0.2.1 build to see if that fixes it, but I can tell
you that it does not fix this other new problem we've been having.

If I change the calendar colors in Thunderbird, they stick until I
restart it, then I see them flash for a second in the sidebar with the
correct colors, then they revert to the grey color - all except my
personal one, which sticks.

I also just checked the web GUI, and even though I changed them in
Thunderbird, they show as grey in the web GUI.

I changed them in the web GUI, and confirmed that they now stick in
Thunderbird...

So, we can now no longer change these colors permanently from
Thunderbird, we have to do it from the web GUI.

This is on TB 38.2, Windows 7 Pro 64bit, and latest version of Integrator.

Ok, I just updated to the 4.0.2.1. we'll see if this fixes the calendar
locking problem.

But I've also just started experiencing another issue, which I'll report
in a separate thread...

I understand that SOGo team want to offer better Outlook compatibility, but how
about users who don't use Outlook? Does this mean non-Outlook users cannot get
SOGo-2.3.2 (and future releases)? That's too bad.

How about mention known issues of Outlook compatibility in sogo release notes
instead of stopping offering packages?

Objet : [SOGo] Upcoming SOGo v2 and v3 releases

Hello,

The past few weeks were very busy for us. Here is a quick summary of what is
coming up:

  1. SOGo v3 beta 2 is closed to be released. It features numerous
improvements over beta 1 such as new toolbars for a better mobile experience,
new theme, advanced search for emails and more. It also integrates the latest
changes and performance improvements of Angular Material and AngularJS.
  2. SOGo v2.3.2 will be released in a couple of days. It includes many
OpenChange/native Outlook compatibility fixes from Zentyal. It also includes
performance improvements for Enterprise ActiveSync.
Regarding the native Outlook compatibility, for now SOGo v2.3.2 will no longer
provide packages for CentOS 6, Debian Wheezy and Ubuntu Precise. We will
provide packages for Debian Jessie and Ubuntu Trusty from now on, until changes
in OpenChange stabilize a bit more.

In the meantime, the SOGo v3 demo site has been updated with the latest
additions and theme - please give it a try at http://demo.sogo.nu/SOGo

Thanks!

You're welcome! Btw. there are complete prebuilt XPIs available at
