Hi.

looking at http://inverse.ca/downloads/SOGo/RHEL5/x86_64/RPMS/ it looks
like all the files are there
have a look at
http://sogo.nu/support/faq/article/how-to-install-sogo-and-sope-through-yum.html
maybe you missed something?

Hi, I think this is probably because what you really need is Centos7,
Sogo, Samba4 AD DC and Openchange. The only problem, there are no Samba4
AD DC rpms yet and you need these to install Openchange.

You could try another OS.

[SOGo] problem opening external imap in /SOGo

2016-03-03 Thread mj

Hi,

We are having problems opening external imap accounts in the SOGo web
access. The problem seems to be specific to hosted imap on ms exchange
servers. Some sample errors in the logs:

Mar 02 17:53:30 sogod [3204]: [ERROR] <0x0x7f68534e9700[NGImap4Connection]>
Error fetching 103 uids for url: imaps://usern...@webmail.company.nl/INBOX/
Mar 02 17:53:47 sogod [3204]: [ERROR] <0x0x7f6850e8d990[NGImap4Connection]>
Error fetching 53 uids for url: imaps://usern...@webmail.company.nl/INBOX/
Mar 02 17:55:34 sogod [16814]: [ERROR] <0x0x7f68520c3d00[NGImap4Connection]> could not select URL:
imaps://usern...@webmail.maastrichtuniversity.nl/ADB2015/: {RawResponse = "{ResponseResult = {description =
\"Server Unavailable. 15\"; result = no; tagId = 6; }; }"; reason = "Server Unavailable.
15"; result = 0; }
Mar 02 17:55:35 sogod [18009]: [ERROR] <0x0x7f6853082fe0[NGImap4Connection]> could not select URL:
imaps://usern...@webmail.company.nl/ADB2015/: {RawResponse = "{ResponseResult = {description = \"Server
Unavailable. 15\"; result = no; tagId = 6; }; }"; reason = "Server Unavailable. 15"; result =
0; }

This is on sogo 2.3.8, and I tried various non-exchange external imap
accounts, and they are working fine.

I there some incompatibility between exchange imap and the SOGo web
access? Is exchange-imap in /SOGo working for others here?

MJ

[SOGo] Delete single calendar event with sogo-tool or directly in the sogo db

2016-03-03 Thread Konrad Mauz

Hi all,

One user of our SOGo has a single calendar event, which he can not
modify or delete.
Error: the object does not exist. In the sogo backup file I can see the
event.

Is it possible to remove a single event with sogo-tool?
Is it possible to remove the event by deleting the rows in the sogo
database tables,

without damaging the calender folder?

Or should I delete the user calender, remove the event from the backup
file and restore the modified backup file?

Regards
Konrad

Re: [SOGo] spammed when user accept / refuse event calendar

2016-03-03 Thread Maxime RUBINO

... no idea ?

When a first user, prompts second user to attend an event, the first
user receives a confirmation email after each connection from second
user to it's calendar since its iphone.

Re: [SOGo] Contact and Calendar from OpenXchange 6

Dear All,

is it possible to import contacts and calendars from OpenXchange in SOGo?

- Chris

Hi Chris,

Admittedly it's been a while since I did anything with OX but the last
migration I handled we exported everything to vcard/vcal files and then
imported into the new environment.

Generally when doing this I either script it if it's for a lot of users,
or make it each users' responsibility to export from the old and import
to the new.

If you're scripting you might find this script:

http://oxpedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=Export_ical/vcard

and this thread:

https://lists.inverse.ca/sogo/arc/users/2015-01/msg00316.html

useful though they're by no means the only potential solutions out there!

Re: [SOGo] Double save in Sogo 3 WebUI prefs

2016-03-03 Thread Peter B

Hello Peter

On Mar 1, 2016, at 2:52 AM, Peter B wrote:

Ubuntu 14.04 SOGo nightlies (currently 3.0.1.20160229-1) running with about
half-a-dozen production users in a testing phase.

Observation more than anything else - got frustrated users who keep missing the "Save"
icon in prefs in the Web UI because they think they've already saved by clicking "save"
in whatever preferences dialog they've used.

Example, filters (sieve editing). If you add/edit a filter, you get a dialog with a "save" button, but after
clicking "save" in the dialog you must also click the "save" icon in the top-right corner. It's
somewhat counter-intuitive, and there's no warning if you're about to lose settings you've just changed (i.e. a popup
along the lines of "exit this screen without saving changes?").

I understand the reasons behind this, but even knowing full well how it works
it's caught me out a couple of times. Users really just don't get it.

Initially I get user calls along the lines of "I changed this or that but it still doesn't work". Then I tell
them to check the preference they changed - did it save it? "Oh, it's back how it was before I changed it..!"
Having explained to frustrated users I generally get the response "but why do I have to click save twice?" or
"but I already clicked save, why didn't it save it then?". Even having explained it to them they make the
same mistake again a couple of days later..

Admittedly it's a small user sample but maybe there should be at least an "exit without
saving?" style dialog or perhaps simply save-as-you-go (feels like there's a general move to
"save as you go" on Android - no save button anywhere, perhaps that's why my users are
confused!).

I agree. In the meantime, I modified the dialogs in the preferences module so it doesn't mention
"Save" but simply "OK".

Francis

Thanks Francis, hopefully that will help until there's a better
solution! Had an interesting comment for a user - "why doesn't the
button change colour if I need to save?" Don't know where that one came
from (i.e. where she might have seen it done) but it might be an idea
for the interface generally... highlight the button somehow if changes
are pending save.

Re: [SOGo] Feature request: add selected to list in Address Book

Done, thanks Christian.

A feature request: in an address book it would be great to add a "Create
list/Add to existing" button/menu option to the selection bar for
selected addresses in the address book list.

This would greatly simplify creating large groups (20+ members),
especially on mobile devices where typing is a pita.

Thoughts?

Add it as Feature request at http://www.sogo.nu/bugs

Kind regards,
Christian Mack
