[SOGo] native Exchange Active Sync with Android devices

2016-03-07 Thread Joachim G.
Hello all,
I successfully use SOGo Exchange Active Sync to synchronize my Outlook 2013
Desktop and two android devices of different brands (HTC phone and Sony
tablet). On my desktop mail sync is pretty fine as all my mails are
synchronized as expected. An my two android devices older mails are
automatically removed from the device although I set up to sync ALL mails and
not only two or three days. Is there any setting I overlooked or is it an
issue?

Best regards
Joachim

Some more info; the same messages on the same iPad display fine via a
different EAS provider on the same machine (Horde) and also via IMAP.

So, the only client in which I'm seeing this problem is iPad Mail when
using SOGo EAS.

Peter.coo

iPad is on iOS 9.2.1

SOGo currently 3.0.2.20160306-1

This might be related to the recently added MIMETruncation support.

Ubuntu 14.04, SOGo v3 nightlies (currently 3.0.2.20160306-1)

Users using mail on iPad see email messages containing attachments as
raw multipart text, or in the case of multipart display content (HTML
pages etc), no content at all. Messages display correctly in Web UI
and other mail clients (Outlook/TBird).

I've seen some related issues in the bug tracker for earlier versions
but nothing for 3.0.x (that I can find).

Known issue? New bug?

Hi John,

thanks for the reply. I didn't find this on the bug list because I looked
for version 3.0.1. After reading I'm looking forward that this issue will be
fixed in the next version as the bug applies also to version 3.0.1. Solution
would be great.

[SOGo] Upgrade 3.0.2-1 to 3.0.2-1 Proxy error?

2016-03-07 Thread ruud.van.lent
Hi,
Saturday my 2.3.8 version got an 'automatic' update to version 3.0.2
Today I changes my repository in Ubuntu to the v3 repo (deb
http://inverse.ca/ubuntu-v3 trusty trusty
) by adding the -v3 to the url.
I did an apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
Got a message that a new version of sogo was available
installed that only to find that now my v3.0.2 installation is not working any
more.
I get the login screen, login with username and password en end-up in a white
screen with a popup (several times) stating 'proxy error'.

Note before the repo change I was already on version 3.0.2 and that was
working like a charm!

Hi Oliver,

I had similar problems on and off when first setting up SOGo + LDAP,
especially as I was trying to tweak it for a multi-domain setup.

To me the important error in your email is:

127.000.000.001.2-127.000.000.001.58766:
{"LDAPPasswordPolicyError": 65535}

This means that SOGo is trying to authenticate against LDAP but failing,
but the failure doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the password.

You need to check the configuration for the LDAP connection in the
SOGoUserSources bit of sogo.conf. If all that looks ok to you, try setting:

LDAPDebugEnabled = YES;

in sogo.conf to help you find out exactly what's going on. This will log
to sogo.log more detail about the conversation between SOGo and LDAP and
will show you searches performed and bind attempts.

If you need more help, post your sogo.conf and the relevant entries from
sogo.log with LDAPDebugEnabled turned on - that'll help us work out
what's going on!

Hi all,

No one..?

Can anyone try opening an exchange imap mailbox as an external (second)

Does it work for you? We are getting the errors below, and would like to
know if this is something specific only to us, or if /SOGo generally has
issues with external imap accounts on exchange.

I there some incompatibility between exchange imap and the SOGo web

2016-03-07 Thread Ruud van Lent

Hi, got it working.
I think I arrived in cached packages hell due to same name but different
repository.
Had to uninstall everything because trying to reinstall didn't work.

fortunately my config files where not purged :)

so now everything is working again.
thanks for the pointer!
and hope it helps somebody who stumbles into the same issue as I have.

Ruud.

[SOGo] Address not synchronized when focus is on "All address books"

2016-03-07 Thread thomas.raddatz
Hi,

I am not sure whether or not this is the right forum to ask my question. So
bear with me and let me know when this is the wrong place.

The problem I am faced with goes like this:

a) The environment is Win7, Thunderbird 38.6.0, Lightning 4.0.6, Sogo 31.0.2
and two remote address books coming from my OwnCloud server 8.1.1-7.

b) Now, when I open the Thunderbird address book, the focus is on "Alle
Adressbücher", which translates to "All address books". Below that root node
there are my two remote address books. The list of address records shows
records from both address books, so that I can edit addresses from both
sources. The problem is, that a modified address is not synchronized with the
OwnCloud server as long as I edit the address with the focus on the root node
(Alle Adressbücher).

c) But when I select one of the address books on the left hand side of the
window, changes of address records are properly synchronized.

d) This is what the left hand side of the address book window looks like:

  Alle Adressbücher
+-- ownCloud (1) Thomas
+-- ownCloud (2) Heike

e) Short form of the problem:

When "Alle Adressbücher" is selected all address records are displayed on the
right hand side of the window, but no changes are synchronized.

When either "ownCloud (1) Thomas" or "ownCloud (2) Heike" is selected, the
records of the selected remote address book are displayed and changes are
synchronized.

Your ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thomas.

[SOGo] Free / Busy in Thunderbird

Dear All,

I've installed Sogo Connector in most recent Thunderbird / Lightning. It's
working fine, but free / busy times are displayed only when closing the
appointment and opening it again. In Webinterface, they're immediately
shown. Is this a known issue?

[SOGo] Show LDAP address book members

Dear all,

is it possible to list all ldap address book members? Or all of a LDAP-group?

Right now, they're shown only, when you enter a part of their names.

Some more info; the same messages on the same iPad display fine via a different
EAS provider on the same machine (Horde) and also via IMAP.

So, the only client in which I'm seeing this problem is iPad Mail when using
SOGo EAS.

Peter.coo

iPad is on iOS 9.2.1

SOGo currently 3.0.2.20160306-1
