[SOGo] Thunderbird 60.2.1 / SOGo Connector 60.0.0 nightly 2018-10-15 / No sync

2018-10-15 Thread "michae...@rocketmail.com"
Thunderbird 60.2.1 on OpenSuse Leap 15.0
Contacts and Calendars stored in Nextcloud 14.0.3.

Hi all,

first thanks to Gordon and Patrick for leading me to
http://packages.inverse.ca/SOGo/thunderbird/nightly/!

Deinstalled old SOGo connector 31.0.6, deactivated as incompatible by TB 60
automatically.
Installed SOGo Connector nightly from today, Oct 15th.

As of now, absolutely no sync takes place. Not for caldav calendars
(Lightning). Not for carddav contacts in remote
addressbooks. No msg/response from Lightning. Manual carddav sync for TB's
remote addressbook says "SOGo: :
No changes".

Tested also to remove and re-add all addressbooks and calendars, no (initial)
sync.

Tried even with a non-existing carddav URL: No error msg, just
seems-to-be-succesful "SOGo: : No changes"
msg. So it seems that TB/SOGo connector does not even try to connect to the
remote URL, whyever.

Any hints where to start to narrow down? Are there any logfiles, somewhere?
Tried "thunderbird -console", but no console
output for SOGo connector.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

[SOGo] Availability of SOGo Connector for Thunderbird >= 60.0

2018-10-04 Thread "michae...@rocketmail.com"
Hi all,

A while ago I've got answer here that SOGo connector (31.0.6 that time) won't
be available anymore as final Thunderbird
add-on, only for paying SOGo customers. Community users have to compile from
source.

As in contrast 31.0.6 have been release a while later, short question, for
clarification:

Is there going to be a installable version working for Thunderbird >= 60.0 on
https://sogo.nu/download.html#/frontends,
in the future (fine to wait for me), or is the information still/again correct,
that I've to compile from source, from
now on?

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Re: [SOGo] SOGo Connector for Thunderbird

2018-06-06 Thread "michae...@rocketmail.com"
Hi all,

as no answer for two weeks, please let me try again:

- Any info when version 31.0.6 of SOGo connector will be available for
download?

https://sogo.nu/download.html#/frontends still only shows 31.0.5

Thanks,
Michael

[SOGo] SOGo Connector for Thunderbird

2018-05-25 Thread "michae...@rocketmail.com"
Hi all,

I've added on 2017-09-02 a comment to issue
https://sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=4094, as I was also affected by this bug.

In the meantime I've switched from Owncloud to Nextcloud (13.0.2), upgraded
Thunderbird to 52.8.0 and SOGo to 31.0.5.

Unfortunately, with 31.0.5, the bug is still existing, deletions from Nextcloud
are still NOT propagated by SOGo
connector to Thunderbird. Good luck the "freeze" of addressbooks has gone, SOGo
just says "No changes", although there
are deletions.

Issue #4094 says "Fixed in Version: 31.0.6", any info when this version of SOGo
connector will be available?

Thanks,
Michael

Re: [SOGo] ANN: SOGo v4 released!

2018-03-07 Thread "michae...@rocketmail.com"
Hi all,

just wanted to inform you that the SOGo demo instance looks ugly with Firefox
58.0.2 (OpenSuse Leap 42.3) as you can see
here: http://paste.opensuse.org/43078632

I wanted to look at the demo instance, just to see how SOGo works, in
comparison to Nextcloud. I'm currently using SOGo
connector with Thunderbird to get my Nextcloud calender entries to
Thunderbird's Lightning.

Michael

Re: [SOGo] About Thunderbird addon

2018-03-05 Thread "michae...@rocketmail.com"
+1 for Uwe,

as afaik Sogo Connector for Thunderbird is currently the only way to link
Thunderbird+Lightning with Owncloud or
Nextcloud, Contacts/ToDos/Appointments.

As Uwe said, works fine, and it would be a pity if not available anymore.
