Can you fixed it ?

I also have calendars not working (ie. the calendar address is the
default moz-storage-calendar://). Unfortunately I also have duplicate
addressbooks also (I've listed the symptoms here before).

Not sure if this is relevant, but I get two password dialogs on top of
eachother just before a lockup-on-startup... They are slightly
different to eachother - one has a checkbox to remember the password and
the other doesn't.

  I've tried a few more things :

* I've added the CA cert to Thunderbird, which gets rid of the 10

* If I restart Thunderbird twice so that the calendar and addressbook

[SOGo] interesting/weird Integrator failures

[SOGo] Resources

2013-10-18 Thread Mark Pavlichuk

I'm getting some weird failures when trying to use resources in events.

1) I must save and close an event before trying to add a resource. If I
don't it fails (ie. the

OK button does nothing).
2) There must be another SOGo user other than the owner already saved to
the event, otherwise
I still cannot add a resource as above. Even saving a non-SOGo
user to a resource first will not
help. (I have three SOGoUserSources entries with different
baseDN's, one of which is a

non-SOGo LDAP addressbook.)

Also, if I edit and existing attendee list I get the following error:
A time conflict exists with one or more attendees.
Would you like to keep the current settings anyway?

This happens no matter if the attendees have conflicts or not.

[SOGo] Proposed solution (was:Dear programmers and architects)

2013-07-07 Thread Mark Pavlichuk
This problem (ie. time-consuming and error-prone installations) is
FAR broader than SOGo... and existing solutions used in the industry
aren't optimal and/or have serious tradeoffs eg. bundling a product in a
specialist distro or custom VM etc...

I'm working on a project which, amongst other things, allows easy
sharing of automated configurations (ie. package lists, scripted
configuration and even remote OS installation if required) between
sites... but is MUCH broader than just this mission. It's a web admin
GUI that can be extended with plugins to achieve many tasks ie.
administration of Samba, SOGo, Postfix, Dovecot, Cyrus, Kerberos,
Asterisk, rSyslog, Freeradius, Kolab, Nagios, Openstack, and many more
services... all controlled via LDAP + RPC.

The automatic configuration aspect allows complete remote
installation and/or configuration of clients, and works with both
Windows (via OPSI) and Linux (via FAI). Unfortunately the Linux
autoconfig part has been a bit neglected and needs work, but is
receiving developer attention at the moment. If you're interested in
helping and/or giving the project a spin join us in #fusiondirectory on
FreeNode (IRC network). The best time is between 9000(GMT) and
1600(GMT). I should also mention that FusionDirectory is the name of
the project... it's a fork of the stalled GOsa project. If you're
expecting things to be easy we certainly aren't there yet... which is
why we need testers and help... HEEELP!!! ;)
