[SOGo] error in mysql and sogo
Hi all, I have update my SOGo Nightly today. MySQL 5.5.53 show every minute in log : 170105 11:34:01 [Warning] Aborted connection 140 to db: 'sogov3' user: 'sogov3' host: '192.168.253.209' (Got an error reading communication packets) 170105 11:35:01 [Warning] Aborted connection 186 to db: 'sogov3' user: 'sogov3' host: '192.168.253.209' (Got an error reading communication packets) 170105 11:36:02 [Warning] Aborted connection 238 to db: 'sogov3' user: 'sogov3' host: '192.168.253.209' (Got an error reading communication packets) I searched and found that a cron job on the sogo server produces this error : * * * * * sogo /usr/sbin/sogo-tool expire-sessions 60 on sogo log file, some times i have this error message (i think it's not related with mysql error): 2017-01-05 11:22:59.219 sogod[22968] ERROR(-[MySQL4Channel primaryFetchAttributes:withZone:]): : got no value for column: attribute=c_settings valueClass=NSString type=TEXT do you have an idea ? -- Cordialement, Maxime RUBINO -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

for ovh api 1.0 and he will disappear in the futur.
if i want ovh api 2.0 for long term support i can use this node.js

I think it's a good idea to integrated api support in SOGo for all
user/admin not using postfix/dovecot but imap/smtp proxy.
i'm not a dev expert but i need to make it, can you help me a little bit ?

it's very important because i don't have dovecot/postfix, i use sogo
with imap/smtp proxying to ovh mail servers, and it works great.

It cannot find the "first exchange organization" because it's not
querying your existing Microsoft AD
IF you followed the Inverse, "Native Microsoft Outlook Configuration
Guide," you installed the Samba & OpenChange packages from Inverse
(so, you have the correct packages), but how did you provision Samba?
At the moment you can only provision as a DC.
The Guide tells you to provision as an AD controller. However,
that's not going to "fit" your existing AD
At this point, I'd check the configuration options in the Samba Wiki
on "joining" as a Member --

Compare the configuration and setups between the Inverse Guide and
the Samba link, and see what you find. You're looking for
differences. One of the main issues is DNC: "Which AD DC does your
smb.conf point to?"
There are people more expert in both Samba & OpenChange on this list,
so maybe someone will see the flaw.
The flaw is probably that he has created a new domain and is now
trying to join it to another domain, I don't think this is going to
work, it may help to say one way or the other, if the OP was to post
the smb.conf from the Sogo machine.
The "first exchange organization" is contained in the database
controlling the AD (usually an LDB in Samba), but you're connected to
the Microsoft AD, so it has to look there, and it's not looking at
the right domain controller.
The question would be, "How did you join your existing Microsoft AD?"

When you launch Thunderbird with SOGo Connector installed, he don't ask password for connection on the SOGo server, nothing, no error, no text box, ... Hello all, I use SOGo Z.E.G on 2.3 since few month for testing, recently i think i have an issue : - create a new user : samba-tool user add blabla...@toto.com - new user can auth with sogo web interfaces. - all old users can't auth : invalid credentiel. so, i redefine same password for all old users with : samba-tool user setpassword us...@toto.com and it works again... You can share calendars and address books between users. This works in the webinterface. And it works via WebDAV/CardDAV/CalDAV/GroupDAV and AES if your client supports it. E.g. Apple devices do not support multiple address books. AFAIK Mobile Phone needs version 8.1 in order to work properly. Hi Ingo, Hi guys, I just updated SOGo a couple days ago from 2.2.10 to 2.2.11a. It seems like that since then I am having problems. I didn't realize it until today, since I mostly use it on my Android, but the web interface is not working (404) and my Thunderbird is not either. Do you have check your apache conf ? 404, page not found, so... A ps -ax | grep sogo shows that there are 4 worker tasks running. Check listening ports 2 from sogod (tcp6 or tcp4 ?) with netstat -anlput | grep sogo The sogo.log doesn't show any errors. You have just to compile Dovecot 2.1.7 if you use Ubuntu Server 14.04.1
LTS and purge Dovecot 2.2.9
set/get annotation will work and Windows Phone don't say "Sync problem"
or similar.

Hi Martin, Thanks for the answer. Your installation is heavily outdated.
