[SOGo] Wrong weeknumber (+1)?

2016-06-17 Thread "Ruud van Lent"

Hi,
I'm using SOGo 3.x (latest) and just got into some 'problems' with the
weeknumbers in my calendar.
It says the week is 25 when in fact the week is 24...

Is that some setting that I have missed?

I had to clear all web content in my browsers settings for the editor to work
again. Just doing a F5 or ctrl-F5 did not work!

Re: [SOGo] update to 3.1.2 breaks html editor?

2016-06-08 Thread "Ruud van Lent"

Hi Francis,
that did the trick: a very persistent caching issue on my client :(
This can be avoided by using a unique script name for each release: not sure if
this would cause other issues or problems :)

Thanks for helping me out!

[SOGo] update to 3.1.2 breaks html editor?

2016-06-07 Thread Ruud van Lent

Hi,

just updated to 3.1.2 and now I cannot compose any mailmessages anymore.
The text (message) editor windows is empty (editor bar not loaded)
When switching in settings to compose text instead of html, then I can
input a message again.

So definitely something broken with the html editor.

regards,
Ruud.

[SOGo] SOGo 3.1.1 UI still not usable with multiple imap accounts

2016-06-03 Thread "Ruud van Lent"

Hi,
after anouncement of version 3.1.1 I thought I'd retry!
congratualations on the new release: looks amazing and I can see a lot of work
has gone into this release!

But... still no really usable accounts sidebar when having multiple (imap)
accounts.
In this screencast (available until 20160605) you can see why...:
https://office.onlinecommunityhub.nl/owncloud/s/Lei7FXarLDWgxaS

I really hope that this is something that can be improved. I already saw a
proposal in mantis (0003493: several imap account in webmail : collapse and
scrollbar) that might just be the solution!

regards,
Ruud.

AW: [SOGo] Problem when log in

2016-03-08 Thread Ruud van Lent

Hi, I got error messages of missing packages, what I did in the end was remove
sogo (incl sope) and reinstalled sogo from the -v3 repo.
The packages where then downloaded and installed.
I think the problem was because of the sogo 2 repo getting the sogo 3 packages
that caused the culprit.

[SOGo] first usage feedback version 3 :)

2016-03-06 Thread Ruud van Lent

Hi, after the 'forced' upgrading from 2.3.8 to 3.0.2 I thought I'd give the new
version a go.
Love it so far!
I have multiple imap accounts and what I noticed is a difference in behavior
between version 2.3.8 and 3.0.2. * in 2.3.8 when going to the inbox of account
2, when creating a new mail message my sender account would automatically be
the email address belonging to account 2. In 3.0.2 no matter in what imap
account I am, when creating a new mail message my sender account is always that
of account 1... I have to switch that manually to the account I am sending the
mail from. * Also when saving the message as draft in account 2 and then
opening it again for editing, the sent from is reverted to account 1 * When
creating a new mail message in account 2 I get the signature of account 2 when
switching the sent from, the signature doesn't change to that accounts
signature, so I am sending with account 3 but with signature of account 2 *
usability of the left pane (imap accounts) is not good when having multiple
imap accounts. See attached screenshot. The pane itself is not scrollable, you
can only scroll one line at a time per imap account. If I want to see more I
have to use a bigger screen. My suggestion would be to have a minimum height
per account and if the total height of accounts is bigger then the hight of the
screen, make the whole pane scrollable.
https://office.onlinecommunityhub.nl/owncloud/index.php/s/JfnkJDmZY0CwRsB
Hope this helps! Keep up the good work!

thanks,
Ruud.

Re: [SOGo] Changing order of imap accounts?

2015-06-12 Thread Ruud van Lent

I have been looking at this and managed to change the order. Please not that I
have no clue as to what I am doing so all steps below are unsupported and at
your own risk.

Make a backup first :)

In database Sogo there is a table sogo_user_profile, in that table you'll find
records with the following structure:
* c_uid
* c_defaults
* c_settings

when I go to the record that holds my sogo login UID, all my mailboxes,
signatures, settings are in one text record c_defaults. The added accounts are
under "AuxiliaryMailAccounts", but that is also where it is getting very
'fuzzy' as the information there is not formated.
copy the contents of the relevant record c_defaults in
http://www.cleancss.com/javascript-beautify/ to have it in a more readable
format.

cut and paste the relevant mailaccount information under
"AuxiliaryMailAccounts" to reorder (NOTE: that the syntaxt of opening and
closing [, {, (, etc stays correct)

Copy the new contents into the record c_defaults (it takes the 'beautified'
format). restart the sogo service in order for these changes to take effect...

et voila...
hope this helps!

btw: would be nice to have this ordering as part of the sogo preferences imap
account settings

Perhaps it's simplest to configure the funambol server to provide
the names as used by the nokia syncml client url.

Re: [SOGo] Sync Sogo Funambol

2011-03-30 Thread Ruud van Lent

	Hi,

I do not have a symbian phone. In Android however, the setting is here:

Funambol app: Settings > Advanced > 'App Internals'

please note that this is a feature not yet in the market version.

If this doesn't work for you, I think you can best try over at the funambol forum.

	regards,

	Ruud.

Step 5 is new to me and make perfect sense. I looked into my nokia, and
there is no option to define with what to sync in the funambol client.
That may be the reason why I am getting anything from SOGo... So the
question now goes as such: where are the options in the Funambol client
for Symbian to adjust what to synchronize ???

	Thanks,

Re: [SOGo] Sync Sogo Funambol

2011-03-30 Thread Ruud van Lent

	Hi,

	As I understand it:

	1. you need to install the sogo - funambol connector > funambol-sogo-1.0.8

	2. in funambol administrator set the engine to SOGoOfficer.xml

	3. configure SOGoOfficer.xml with the correct port number for the SOGo service (in my case 2)

	4. add in the funambol admin tool your SOGo connectors (e.g. sogo-cal)

	5. on your device configure your sync application to use the SOGo connector (sogo-cal) otherwise it will synchronise not into SOGo but into the Funambol database.

Via the SOGoOfficer.xml the accounts from SOGo will be 'replicated' to Funambol, I had some trouble with the funambol user database not filling with the accounts, but creating a new user and logging in for the first time with that user in SOGo automagically made my funambol userlist fill up with the SOGo / ldap accounts.

Only pitfals I encountered in getting it to work was the port number for the SOGo service and not being able to change the connector name on my android device (latest version has the ability to define your own connector name).

Hope this helps somehow, although I believe it a repetion of steps you already did.

	regards,

	Ruud.

	Hi,

I'm back with the same issue again. Basically, I can't get SOGo to
	synchronize with Funambol.

I tried what some other users provided as help, even with the manual
	from Ruud.

Funambol works fine, as I can synchronize my nokia with it. I can even
synchronize my Thunderbird with it through a beta connector for TB.
	SOGo works fine.

I just can't get those two to work together.

So I started looking at the funambol database. There are no SOGo
specific tables. Is is supposed to be so ? How does funambol knows to
forward info from and to SOGo ? Apart from the module from SOGo,
fuanmbol loads other services. Are those required? Can they conflict
	with SOGo ?

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 server, SOGo 1.3.5a and Funambol 8.5.2 all on
	x64 versions.

	Thanks for the help,

Re: [SOGo] SOGo + Funambol

2011-03-25 Thread Ruud van Lent

	Hi Dominique,

I wrote a howto for funambol with sogo integrator on the clearos forum (=centos), you can find it here

Maybe this helps to get your setup working.

	OK, it looks better now.

Sogo is still working. So far so good.

I did the funambol install based on the information provided by the SOGo
manual + what was recommended earlier to get the Mysql support. Nothing
more in the funambol install. With one exception: instead of using
localhost, I use the server IP address although both services are
running on the same server (to solve the error mentioned in my prior post).

Funambol is installed, I changed the Database to Mysql, and I can get my
phone (Nokia N97 mini) to sync with funambol. As per the content of the
mysql funambol database, I do have data transfer going on. Great but I
just want to use funambol to connect to SOGo, and that still does not work.

I changed the officer in Funambol, edited the xml file to point to my
domain (or should it be the local server IP ?). I added the module for
SOGo in the midst of other modules I do not use and configured the
various sync sources (with the server local IP), so the question is...
what am I missing or doing wrong.

Any new ideas are welcome at this point.

You can either try with a mobile client or MS Outlook,

Regarding users/fqdn, in a funambol client (mobile/outlook) you
will set the url of your sogo server ( and the remote name of

Re: [SOGo] Spell Check - English Only ?

2011-03-14 Thread Ruud van Lent

	Hi Jason,

thanks for your how-to to disable the spellchecker. What I am facing now is that I still get the red lines under the words but when right-clicking on them I only get a small popup window with cut/copy/paste where I would expect the browsers popup with spellcheck features. In the subject field it works as expected (browser spelcheck)

	Am I missing some setting?

	thanks

	Ruud.

I believe this will be reverted on upgrades to SOGo, but I'm not sure.
