Re: [SOGo] iOS6 and SOGo?

2012-09-20 Thread Thomas Urban
I've been running fine for months now with SOGo 1.3.x and iPhone4S/iPad
running iOS5 syncing my mails, notes, contacts, calendars and tasks.
There is basically only trouble in syncing delegations with iCal on Mac
OS X, but I haven't tested these previously again.

And of course I'm going to start testing iOS6 today or tomorrow ...

This is similar to what I am getting at, however this is fixed in SOGo for
iOS5.x… What version of SOGo do you have?

I noticed you are running port 443 SSL, but do you have a virtual host
listening on port 8843 with SSL? That is the port Apple is expecting for
CalDAV SSL.

Re: [SOGo] Shared calendar in iCal works with OSX 10.8!

2012-07-31 Thread Thomas Urban
This issue is very weird nevertheless. I know Macs running 10.6 with
proper support for delegations in Calendar.app as well as 10.7 systems
doing so. However, my 10.7 isn't working with the very same installation
of SOGo tested on all those machines and that's I'm so curious about.

Nevertheless, good to hear ...

Relatively good news: iCal 6.0 aka Calendar.app on OSX 10.8 works with
delegation out of the box!

Now everybody on 10.7 just needs to upgrade to 10.7 to use Sogo :-) I
already have two machines that won't work with 10.8 though :-(

Re: [SOGo] own extensions

2012-07-30 Thread Thomas Urban
This is a documented configuration option. Search the manual for
SOGoUIAdditionalJSFiles ... this takes a list of JS file names w/o pathnames,
thus they need to be located in WebResources folder of SOGo ...

PrototypeJS is available there.

Re: [SOGo] own extensions

2012-07-30 Thread Thomas Urban
Hello,

have you tried using JavaScript overloading for implementing the UI widget
first probably linking to some externally provided server-side code? JS
overloading is available by SOGo, due to already having a running webserver it
might be simple to have another virtual host on a diffent port running separate
script performing any action you need in addition to what is possible in
JavaScript itself. And this won't be affected by updates of SOGo as long as JS
overloading is kept working.

Thomas

Re: [SOGo] SoGo-Connector asks masterpassword from TB once per remote addressbook

2012-05-05 Thread Thomas Urban

Hi Ulf,

try the addon "Startup Master" ... this is working great over here for
several majo releases of TB.

Hi users,

perhaps you can help me.

I use TB 10.0.4 ESR with SoGo Connector 10.0.1. I save the credentials for
every remote addressbook (several books on the same server) in the TB password
manager and use a masterpassword. When I open TB with two remote addressbooks I
have to type the masterpassword three times, one for all smtp accounts and one
for every addressbook. I tested with one addressbook and then I have to type
the password two times.

Do you have any hint for me, how I can reduce the typing to one time?

Thanks a lot.
Ulf

[SOGo] Syncing subscribed webcalendar

2012-04-27 Thread Thomas Urban

Hi everyone,

I've installed SOGo some days ago and now I'm testing it. I'm basically
satisfied with it (running 1.3.15). However, there is a problem I can't fix:

When I'm subscribing to a webcalendar in Web UI of SOGo that subscribed
calendar gets listed there and I can see all its events. However, it's
never synced to any connected device over CalDAV. I'm doing so to use
externally provided holidays list and also want to see them on all my
attached devices of course.

Is this a bug, or a feature?

All locally created calendars are properly synced between devices and
WebUI in either direction, but the subscribed webcalendar isn't even
listed anywhere but Web UI.

Best Regards,
Thomas Urban
