Re: [SOGo] SOGo vs. Zentyal vs. iRedMail

2019-10-29 Thread Tom Plancon

Hello,

My understanding is that SOGo is NOT an email server. It is an
email/groupware client that requires an email server to connect to so it
can send and receive email. We installed iRedMail and it works great,
very simple to install and configure.

Hello,

excuse my maybe provocative question, please.

Why should I use SOGo directly instead of using Zentyal
(https://doc.zentyal.org/en/installation.html
 ) or, maybe, iRedMail (
https://iredmail.org )?

I have spent a few days with comparing different groupwares, but the
differences are still unclear to me. For my current understanding all
of the above mentioned systems are more or less the samePostfix,
MySQL/MariaDB, Dovecot,... and SOGo.

Could you give me a hint, why you guys prefer a directly SOGo setup
instead of the other two solutions?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Did reverting to 4.0.0 solve the issue? Is this a bug?

Re: [SOGo] Messages not displayed

2018-07-17 Thread Tom Plancon
YES! This is exactly the behavior I'm experiencing! We are running 4.0
and have an office intranet. I've placed a link on the intranet homepage
with a target="_blank" attribute to the Sogo login page. If a user
accesses Sogo using that link the email body is not displayed! BUT, if a
user puts the Sogo address directly into the browser everything is fine!
I am so glad it is a bug! It was driving me crazy!

Hi,

I am testing sogo4 and I found a bug when displaying messages.
This occurs when sogo is called from a link from another webpage
using a target="_blank" attribute on the link.

To reproduce the issue :
create a html file containing this :

  http://demo.sogo.nu/; target="_blank">Webmail Sogo

Open the file using a web browser, click on the link, log in and click
on any message.

Regards.
