+1 for Uwe, as afaik Sogo Connector for Thunderbird is currently the only way to link Thunderbird+Lightning with Owncloud or Nextcloud, Contacts/ToDos/Appointments. SOGo Connector is useless without SOGo anyway; and the offered SOGo Integrator addon is an example you have to modify yourself to make work.
