Re: [SOGo] Thunderbird 24 Support

Hi,

When will be stable the new extensions for the Thunderbird 24?

I’d like to know this, too. Is there some roadmap or scheduled date?

Kind regards

Dear Guys,

When will be stable the new extensions for the Thunderbird 24?
On the links above the github repositories of all intergator and
connector version (17, 24) contain the Hungarian translation, but the
latest nightly builds not.
The chrome.manifest file is correct everywhere, but the
chorome/locale/hu-HU folder exists only in the connector builds, not in
the integrator.

Could anyone check them please?

Hi,

I'm testing Thunderbird 24 (Windows 7) and SOGo Connector / Integrator
extensions with Sogo 2.0.7 (Debian 6).

I added an event with title Oggi è bello, when I receive the event
confirmation via email I see the subject as Accepted invitation: Oggi
#232; bello! , è is displayed as #232;, instead it is show
correct in the body of email.

Still from Thunderbird, when I add an event and check for free-busy
entering an email address, also if it is presente in the global
addressbook, is not autocompleted (from Sogo web interface this
happens), but freebusy works fine.

I do not know if these bugs were also present in the previous version of
connector/thunderbird.

Thanks

You haven't customized your SOGo Integrator or you've done it incorrectly.

Hi,

I have customized Sogo Integrator, from site.js:

sogo-integrator.autocomplete.server.urlid, Corporate Addresses

and in fact I can see the global addressbook in Thunderbird addressbook
and search, with autocompletion, all users in it.

Only autocomplation in freebusy, when looking for user in global
addressbook, isn't working.

Dear Ludovic,

- Are these releases stable or testing only at the moment?
- some weeks ago I created a fork from .tb17 (integrator and connector
too) and put the Hungarian translation for them, and get a merge
request. I don't find the Hungarian translates in the new versions. I
need to do it again with the .tb24 releases?

For testing but they should be quite stable as the changes required were
minimal. Once we've received a few rounds of testing, we'll make
official releases and push them on http://sogo.nu.

[SOGo] Thunderbird 24 support?

Hello,

since TB24 has now the first Beta release I would be interested to test

Unfortunately the Sogo extension/integrator for TB17 seem to no longer
work with TB24.

Is there a Beta of the Sogo extension/integrator available for TB24 ?

Hi,

Download the sogo integrator again, do the needed modifications, and
after that edit the /install.rdf file.

em:minVersionxx.xxem:minVersion
em:maxVersionxx.xxem:maxVersion

These lines define the usable TB version numbers. You can use wildcards too.

Thunderbird 24 will be the next ESR release, so it should be supported

At the moment there is a discussion if there will still be ESR releases
of TB in the future,

or if the TB 17 is the last ESR

Not right now. I've tested them last week.

SOGo Integrator was working well, while SOGo Connector was breaking due
to changes (AGAIN!) for the ACL code in Lightning. We'll soon
investigate but we sure wanted to see 24 ESR out before putting any
