Re: [SOGo] Webmin module

2015-03-25 Thread Chris Coleman
I see the same error on that Webmin SOGo module. The reason is because,
that version of the Webmin module was written about 3 years ago the
previous major version of SOGo which used GNUstep defaults binary to
save settings somewhere in the GNUstep settings location. The current
version of SOGO expects settings to be saved to a regular conf file
/etc/sogo/sogo.conf

Maybe the original module author could update that Webmin module's perl
code to write the settings to the proper location. Added features in
that webmin module would be nice to have.

Check the ZEG at the sogo homepage.
It contains one.

We installed SOGo at our company nearly a year ago. I can't remember what

settings for our server. When I looked at the Webmin module today, it no
longer contains our settings, but appears to be reset to the default values.
It has been many months since I looked at the Webmin module, so I'm not sure
when it broke.I downloaded and installed the current Webmin module
 from
sogo.nu, but it made no difference. The SOGo server continues to work
correctly, so I know the correct settings are still in the .GNUstepDefaults
 file.

 OS: CentOS 6.2
 SOGo: 1.3.13
 Webmin: 1.580
Webmin Module:1.520 (as reported by Webmin)
 Path to defaults: /usr/bin/defaults
 Path to .GNUstepDefaults: /home/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUstepDefaults

I just updated the Webmin version. The published version on the website wasn't
the latest version :

Also, make the rights are correct on your GNUstep folder :

chown -R sogo:sogo /home/sogo/GNUstep

[SOGo] Webmin module for FreeBSD?

2011-11-19 Thread euan.thoms
I have a fully functioning SOGo setup on FreeBSD,... purrs like a kitten. Just
need to do some testing and plan a migration strategy. SOGo is truly great,
after looking around quite a bit, it has the best set of features for us.

Only one thing I can't do yet on FreeBSD; install the webmin module. I get a
message saying it's doesn't support my OS.

Is there anything in the webmin module that is really LInux specific? If not I
could hack it to fool it into thinking FreeBSD is supported. I guess the paths
(e.g to GNUstep defaults) are all I can think of, if so they could easily be
changed.

[SOGo] WebMin Module

2011-05-17 Thread Alan Bover
Hi, I have been trying to make work Webmin module, but unsuccesfully.

When I configured the module, in the option Full path to GNUstep defaults
command, I have:
/home/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults, as my config file is:
/home/sogo/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUDefaults
I have been trying also another configurations, and there is no way that the
module will get the configurations. In the other hand, if I try to save a
configuration through the module, I keep receiving this message:
Error while saving the following parameter : SOME PARAMETER DEPENDING ON THE
WINDOW

Thanks

The latest version was bundled with the ZEG, but not yet linked on sogo.nu.
It's now done :

P.S. Also hoping for an updated Zero Effort Groupware (ZEG) 1.3.7!

Already available!

Usually this involes installing webmin and then downloading

Not sure if you mean this module:

And where I can find instructions to configure the openchange with SOGo?

Did you follow the installation and configuration of OpenChange?

http://tracker.openchange.org/projects/openchange/wiki/HowTo_Install_OpenChange_From_Source
http://tracker.openchange.org/projects/openchange/wiki/HowTo_Setup_OpenChange_Server

Please be aware that openchange is not yet released, it's progressing fas
but definitively not for productive environments at the moment.

Using the ZEG VM is also a simple way for testings/quickstarting.
