Hi,

The problem began with a particular user some days ago. He had a lot of
mails, so I suspected the problem was that. But now most of the users
have the same problem, even me.

We can see no mail at the INBOXes. No problem with other folders. I
still use Squirrelmail which sees the INBOX's mails without problem.

I upgraded the server to latest Debian package and the problem
continues.

The problem seems to be reported the same way as for the first user who
had this problem, you can see it below in the second line: "could not
fetch x uids for url: imap:///INBOX/"

Note I'm using "/" as separator.

It looks like bug #58 http://sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=58
I don't have a solution, but you can workaround it searching for a
message with complicated structure (multipart, multi charset, etc...)
and delete it with another mail client...

Hi,

Thanks a lot Julien, I think I found the problem. It seems to be a bug.
Squirrelmail read the message but SOGo crashes.

### uploaded to the sogo bugtracking system ###

I've been able to find a message and the string to reproduce the crash.
No idea why is this happening. In a forwarded mail, I found an address
between quotation marks (line 122 of the file mailwithquotes.txt) that
makes SOGo fail. I tried putting the same quotation in other addresses
and SOGo didn't crash... If I put simple quotations marks or if I erase
them all mails get read again. I snipped the Base64 encoded part of the
message to make it smaller. HTH. TIA.

that mailwithquotes.txt is full of formating errors. incorrectly encoded
email addresses, broken headers, etc.

Are you sure that it is created with Thunderbird

Hi Tomas,

Yes, the last mail was sent with Thunderbird, the original one I really
don't know.

BTW, I had the error again with another mail, someone used Thunderbird
to forward a calendar invitation (something which doesn't have any
sense) but again I couldn't see my inbox.

This time the error is:

May 18 13:28:47 sogod: SOGo watchdog [3707]:
<0x0x8c61718[NGImap4Client]> ERROR(-[NGImap4Client
_processCommandParserException:]): catched IMAP4 parser exception

May 18 13:28:47 sogod: SOGo watchdog [3707]: [ERROR]

imap://myuser%40mydom...@localhost/INBOX/
EXCEPTION: NAME:NSInvalidArgumentException
REASON:Tried to add nil to array INFO:(nil)

And the mail which caused this is the one I attached (it's very small)
This time it seems it has nothing to do with quotation marks... :-(

TIA,

Hi Roberto,

Thanks for the bug report.

Can you provide us with a full copy of the original message ?

Thanks!

I forgot to mention we have no problem with Thunderbird, only with the
web interface :-(

That's why I mentioned Squirrelmail.
