Re: weird problem - Bean delegate has already been declared

2006-07-24 Thread Nick Faiz

Jesse,

Thanks, but it's really a hard one to reproduce. It seems to follow in
the wake of db failures. If I can reliably reproduce it I will follow
the steps you suggest.

easy it is to re-produce your problem in a test case)

I think it is a show stopper. In our case it is slowing down development

Any ideas or clues would be appreciated.

hi,

maybe its off topic but i use tomcat 5.5 with the Sysdeo Eclipse Tomcat

all the jar files

easier

than using ant :)

btw. the creators of this plugin are french too:

hi everyone, I'm just starting a new development projet with Tapestry
4.0
and Hibernate 3.1. I'm looking for the best local server to install
on my

computer to make my development.

here are the important point for me:

1- Must be easy to install
2- Easy to deploy with ant and Eclipse.
3- Quick to start and stop.
4- Less configuration possible.
5- Must support JNDI
6- Not to much memory ungry...

Right now, I use Tomcat 5.5.17 with the service installed and I have
some

problems. Use about 90mg of memory and is really long to start and stop.

I'm considaring switching to Jetty 6, is a good idea?

Maybe some theak in tomcat maybe anough..

Please, let me know what you think !

Thanks

P.S Sorry for bad english, i'm french

Re: I do not like the new tapestry logo (constructive criticism)

Yeh, that's cool.

I didn't mean to jump the gun by offering ideas. Apologies if I've
created confusion on the list. I was simply providing ideas because
someone said that criticism without alternative suggestions wasn't
constructive.

 Here are ideas
 - a spiderweb
 - a loom
 - a needle and thread
 - if someone can draw Arachne (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arachne)
that might be mythological enough for some of the tastes here.

The loom is nice idea.
By the way, I don't remember anything about logo contest, it could be
nice to do one.

Well, I think it's probably a little esoteric. :) Maybe it isn't a good
logo if you don't know the stories about the fantastic memories
elephants are supposed to have.

For the record, that is what I have always guessed the Postgres logo to
symbolize. Perhaps there's another story to it.

Well, now I know what the significance of the elephant is. Maybe I'm
just dense, but for years I've never really got it and never really
bothered to look into it. I'd imagine I'm not the only one though.
