Yeah, it's just the link was renamed: http://www.packtpub.com/tapestry-5/book Everything should be all right, no problems so far. The text is completed and different editors, indexers etc are working on it. Well, I have mixed feelings in respect to Tap 5 book - first reaction was GREAT, for years the main issue with this outstanding framework was lack of good books/tutorials etc. (yes, I purchased both Howards Tap3 book and Kent's Tap 3/4 tutorials, but they are not up to the level of the framework itself). Now that we can pre-order Tap 5 book, should we? Noting that Tap 5 is still in its alfa stage, what percentage of the content specific to Tap 5 will be still valid for Tap 5 GA? IMO only Howard can make some prelinimary estimates on that... It seems to me that some kind of electronic live-book would be an ideal thing to have for frameworks in the middle of their development cycle... So, should I pre-order it? I agree that an electronic online book would be ideal for many people and one day such a book might appear, who knows. But a real paper book is an important step for a framework to be widely accepted and known. It is a kind of status quo. An online book doesn't bring that status quo. This book will be very important for my work too: a big company like mine will much more likely adopt a framework if there are some decent publications on it. I'd think this book is not so much for those people who are already using Tapestry 5 actively as it was designed to become a primer. As for how different the final version of Tapestry will be from the current version... Well, nobody knows that except of Howard, and Howard has reviewed the first four chapters of the book. He might review the remaining chapters too, I don't know.
