I've asked for easy form error customisation a few times (see my
earlier reply from this thread). There is no wiki on this. No concise
answer, not even YES/NO. Well, assume the default: No - it's not easy
to customize individual form errors at the moment.

So T5 has t:errors/. How hard would it be to create new core
 component t:error/ ?

I'll be happy to be proven wrong. Alternatively, if I'm right, Ill be
happy to submit a JIRA issue.

Accessibility requirements typically dictate that error
 messages should be
*both* shown adjacent to the field and as a summary
 together in one place,
typically on top of the page. Screen readers will have a
 hell of a time
reading Javascript bubbles. Pretty defaults are fine as
 long as they are
easily customizable; and obviously just turning off
 validation isn't a
solution. Every developer should try a screen reader, it's
 eye opening to
understand how a blind person would view the same page.

Not sure how stringent your requirements are, but I know
 with 5.0.7 the
bubbles go away by setting clientValidation=false on
 the form component.

Of course, this means that the page submits to validate...

There shold be an easy way to use normal text as
 replacement for the
popup bubbles, as we have the need to build our WebApps
 conforming to WAI
   (Web Accessibility Initiative).

Any change to get this? We have WAI conformant Apps
 running with T3 and T4
and would very much preferr to build the next App with T5.

   Thx, Max

Starting with 5.0.9, the validation errors appear as
 popup bubbles
adjacent to the fields.

 Hi Everyone,

I have a specific message area on the top of the page to
display the eror
 messages.

I might have more than one form per page,

How can I overide the error messges from the form
validation and display on
 the message area.

 Any Idea?

 Thank you,
 Anteneh
