Hello! I am using tomcat 5.0.28, and I am searching for a way to set the domain of the session cookie. I need to set the cookie domain to .mydomain.com and not to www.mydomain.com. I have been looking for it in many sites and books, but I don t find the way to do it. Can anyone help me? Thanks very much in advance!! deploy a war on startup
Hello! I am using tomcat 5.0.28. When we have the tomcat running and we update the .war, the war is deployed ok. When the tomcat is stopped and we update the war, logically it is not deployed. But if I start tomcat, it doesn t deploy the war. Is there any way to deploy wars on startup if they are newer? http proceses dont die correctly
Hello, we have apache (2.0) and some instances of tomcat (5.0) working perfectly, until a new instance of tomcat, which uses ACEGI. Now, we have apreciate that httpd processes dont die correctly, and the number of http processes increased until reach the MaxClients number... the solution by now is restart httpd, but i cant find where is exactly the problem and how to reproduce it.. jars in shared/lib
Hi everybody! I have a problem with libraries in shared/lib. I am using tomcat 5.0.28. I have some libraries of the application, (for example spring-aop.jar..). When I have these libraries in application: in ..WEB-INF/lib they are loaded ok. When I put them in common/Lib of tomcat, they are loaded ok. But if I put them in shared lib, the application doesnt find them, what its wrong? Hi, the reason why I put jars in common/lib is that the war file is very heavy with all the jars included in it. As solution, I puted jars in tomcat directories. By definition, in shared/Lib you can put application jars that will be available between applications, but I only see jars if I put them in common/Lib Thanks for youe help! about maxProcessors attribute
Hi! I am reviewing my apache-tomcat configuraction, trying to tunning the performance. I use AJP/1.3 connector between apache and tomcat 5.0.28. I have the default value for maxProcessors attibute (20). In apache I have maxclients to 150 value. Does someone know how works it exactly? One processors by each request from apache to tomcat, I suposse.. Is there any way to know how many processors are running in the machine? Hello, I am looking for a sample application for tomcat, like "pet store", but I cant find it. I need it to test the behaviour of tomcat and oraclr 10g RAC. Hi, why dont you change "webapps" directory to a empty directory? And add your wanted applications as context.
