Thanks, this should be sufficient for figuring out structured data. I just
wasn't sure where the information was.

I am afraid something is not working fine with search again.

*Logged-in search*. Looking for "model" in http://www.xwiki.org (after
your last messages about the new data model). All wikis, all spaces when
working with Lucene. All spaces when trying WebSearch.

LuceneSearch: 61 hits. Only AIXM is showed.
WebSearch: 4 hits. All in one page.

*If I log-out...*

LuceneSearch: 63 hits. Three pages. All of them show up.
WebSearch: 2 hits.

Please, does this make any sense for you? Thanks!

Cheers,

Ricardo

It will be implemented at some point, once we write the new data model,
but it will take a while. For the moment, there are no alternatives,
other than using the parent property.

I searched for the answer for this question without success in the mailing
lists, faqs and in the JIRA, sorry if it's a duplicated question.

Will nested pages be supported, or is there any alternative to this (order
than specifying the parent document)?

Thanks

Subject: reference types in current object in dblist

I have an XWiki class for which I'd like to have a dblist where the hql
references types in the same object. Such as:

select doc.id from XWikiDocument as doc, XWikiAttachment as att where
att.docId = doc.id and att.filename = string from a string member of this object

Can this be done?

Re: [xwiki-users] Problem with Access Level

2009-08-06 Thread gwenhaelc

Some tests I made and let me perplexed :

I can't view the list of documents in the current space although everybody
has "view" rights on all spaces. I view the docs only if I have the "admin"
right on the space.

#set($docNames = $xwiki.getSpaceDocsName($doc.space))
#foreach($doc in $docNames)

$doc returns the name of the page without the name of the space.

Exemple : for the page "Conception.Outils" ("Conception" is the space,
"Outils" the page), $doc returns "Outils"

By specifying the space :

#if($xwiki.hasAccessLevel("view", $context.user, "Conception.Outils"))

an user with only "view" right see the list of docs.

In summary :
#if($xwiki.hasAccessLevel("view", $context.user, "Outils"))
returns false for users with "view" right (true with "admin" right) and
#if($xwiki.hasAccessLevel("view", $context.user, "Conception.Outils"))
returns true for users with "view" right.

Indeed, I just tried this, and the whole document content was removed,

Which version of XWiki Enterprise are you using?

If you're using XE 1.9 / pages in XWiki 2.0 syntax you can enclose such code in
a HTML macro:

{{html}} HTML code goes here {{/html}}

This will protect your code when saving the page and make sure it gets
displayed.

However if you type it directly it should be displayed as you type it

Hi Guillaume,

I am using XE 1.9 in XWiki 1.0 syntax. I'll try switching this page to XWiki
2.0 syntax and insert the code as you suggest.

Thanks

Which version of XWiki Enterprise are you using?

If you're using XE 1.9 / pages in XWiki 2.0 syntax you can enclose such code in
a HTML macro:

{{html}} HTML code goes here {{/html}}

This will protect your code when saving the page and make sure it gets
displayed.

[xwiki-users] Bug with etc

2009-08-06 Thread Steven Calkins

Dear All,

Code like the following is totally removed in the XWIKI WYSIWYG editor
when the information is saved:

"Item 1 characteristics:

Item 1, bullet 1
Item 1, bullet 2
Item 1, bullet 3

Item 2 characteristics:

Item 2, bullet 1
Item 2, bullet 2

Item 3 characteristics:

Item 3, bullet 1

"

It important to never save such HTML snippets in the WYSIWYG editor. And
anyone who follows you and edits the file unknowingly in WYSIWYG mode
will remove the elements as well. It would be nice if the developers
tweak the editors to convert such code in the background to a
corresponding wiki format.

Greetings,
Steven Calkins

Hi!
The behavior was the replacement of the special characters by questions
marks.
But now it is working...

Thank you!
