Because I use smtp auth I run qmail as vpopmail and the permissions should be vpopmail.qmailq and they were not be cuase I had a queue problem a few days ago and I ran the utility to repair the queue and it changed the permissions.
[vchkpw] Thanks
I would like to thank the people that provided POSITIVE feed back to my problem, I run qmail as vpopmail because of the smtp-auth patch and the ownsership of the queue files is not the same becasue of that and I had a queue problem a few days ago and ran that queue repair utility and it changed the ownership of the files in that queue messing up the works. I have found and fixed it so all is fine now no more problems. -JOhn

I never said the "Sure you didn't" thing. Second, i have only seen those errors with a queue that was deleted, i am sorry if that was not what had happened. Someone else submitted the right answer you were looking for. X

It is something i am planning to do, but since the code is still buggy, i have not tested/tried it yet on any of the test boxes we use. X-Istence
