Hi Steve In that case, just configure a SQL Job to backup the files to disk, and then do a file level backup to tape for the .bak / .trn file(s). That’s an option and one that I’ve suggested but the customer was hoping for a ‘hot’ backup solution. Even if this worked, I wouldn't trust it on something as serious as a database. What happens when it doesn't work and you can't get support from anyone?
