I also got this problem. It happened two days after updating my OS X 
version from 10.8 to 10.8.2. I'm using Versions 1.1.11. I have spent the 
whole night to resolve this -- same -- still no luck.
It doesn't care how much I try to expand the folder, nothing will be shown 
up as its child.

I too am having this problem:

OSX 10.8.2 with Versions 1.1.11 Build 1030

Have tried restarting, removing/re-adding repositories, different 
repositories -- still no luck.

I used Versions for a long time... but this morning the "Browse" section 
show me nothing!
This problem appears in all of my repositories! (Working copy and Remote 
repos both).
