 Video Camera Canon Vixia HG21
 Handheld Wired Mic Sennheiser MD-42

I have this .. great choice .. works well and is very versatile.

 Shotgun Stereo Mic Azden SMX-10
 LED
 Light Sima SL-20LX
 Universal Shoe Mount Bescor VB-50
 Tripod Bogen 190XDB

This is only the legs .. you didn't say what (video) head you would put on
these legs. Bogen/Manfrotto tripods are sold with the legs and head
separate. YES, you can buy a 'package' but when you receive it you will have
to install the head on the legs.

2009-04-07 Thread danielmcvicar
For video editing I would look into Premiere...or start with final cut express
and then see what you want to do later.
I started with Final Cut, but it is too limiting in terms of portability of
files and use of multiple formats including still images.

Also, these days, keep it simple, but make a nice 3 second intro graphic.

Or you can use the mobile video cameras like Steve Garfield does so well.

Go get 'em..

Hi Schlomo,

We just had a massive release (soft launch) yesterday. I already asked our
development team to look into that videobloggingweek search issue. In the
meantime, you may find this useful (even has some classic VBW videos featured
at top):

http://www.mefeedia.com/tags/videobloggingweek

RSS w/ enclosures for iTunes or Miro:

P.S. - We would appreciate any and all feedback on the new MeFeedia - just
email fr...@mefeedia.com thanks.

I may have missed this, but how are the videos for videoblogging week being

Usually its through mefeedia.com but when I searched videobloggingweek
nothing came up...even though I'm using that tag on my blizog.

I just want an rss feed that I can use to go through all the posts. Just one
big engorgement of the weeks videos. For passover.

Anyway, I actually have a day2 video and, of course, it involves me eating

If I were you I would go with the VIXIA HF S10. I don't trust hard drive based
camcorders (have one Sony one SR7), they make clicking and moving parts noise
which is recorded into the video in very quite environments.

Make sure the EW100ENGG2 wireless mike setup is compliant with the new
government radio frequency standards. I don't know off the top of my head, but
I hear that there's new versions of products companies have released to comply
with new radio regulation...

Day 3 and my attention turns to the upcoming Star Trek movie.

Once we hit day 7, I would be interested in what you think of my week long
experiment during Video Blogging Week. I can see that my style is evolving
already, but I wonder if I'll find my voice by day 7.

[videoblogging] SEO for videoblogs

2009-04-07 Thread Rupert
An incredibly boring video about getting more viewers for your
videoblog:

http://twittervlog.tv/2009/04/seo-for-videoblogs/

I wish I'd never said I'd make this video. It might bring you more
viewers, but that won't do you much good if you've blown your brains
out with boredom halfway through watching it.
