Re: [videoblogging] Video blogging platforms?
Hi Siobhan,Several video galleries with automatical thumbnail generation is on woomp.com. You can share your galleries with whom you want, but the visitors (still?) cannot add comments there. But it looks nice. Ah yes, and your videos must be FLV. Re: [videoblogging] Screencasting in Windows Media File (long)

Hello Stephanie, Try this great freeware WINK: http://www.debugmode.com/wink/ I suggest you read also the tutorial on that site. You can achieve good results and rather quickly, it is as intuitive as RoboDemo. (I don't know how intuitive Camtasia is.) Only be careful with the number of the frames per file (if I remember right, each file should not have more than 20 frames. But the (expensive) screencast software has such file limitations, too ... Newbie and first question: 3GP format - Re: [videoblogging] for the new people on this group
Dear Jay, Thank you very much for the nice welcome. > We've had a lot of new people join in the last month. > I want to first extend a welcome to you. I am one of the new members, but still in the phase of experimenting, i.e. I still do not have a really working vlog. But as an introduction to this group I made this vlog entry here: http://maxie-online.blogspot.com Well, one can see here is a real beginner ... :-) I have watched many of the videos that were posted in this group and see that the "standards" are very high. (Thank you all for sharing!) My question, of which I hope it is not too silly: At the moment I am trying and learning with what I have. (I know, I should have a real videocam, somewhen I will.) Anyway, I am not at all satisfied at the quality of the videos from my digital camera - a Fuji A 201 - and so I wanted to use the videos shot with my mobile (Motorola E1000), but they are in mobile format (3GP). I did not find anything via Google, so I am asking here: Is there any possibility to use 3GP files also for a web videolog? What program could I use to convert them into one of the usual web formats (SWF, WMV, MOV)? Is that possible at all? Kind regards from Berlin (Germany) Martina Yahoo!
