2005-09-07 Thread Kunga
New QuickTime 7.0.2 might fix the 3ivx dual pass bug? Maybe the bug
was in QT 7? Anyone care to find out sooner than

Heads up - new version of Quicktime, 7.0.2, has been released. In
 your software updater.

More importantly, if you are using an old version (pre-v.7) of QT Pro, the
upgrade to iTunes 5/QT 7 will warn you that your QT Pro license becomes
invalid following the upgrade.

What the heck is the value of updating to "pro" if
Quick Time won't honor the payment in the upgrade? I certainly am not
about to send $30 to QuickTime every time they decide to upgrade the
program! I only uploaded the LAST version of QuickTime and upgraded within
the last month!

It's referred to as the "quicktime pro tax" in many places - not that
it helps to know that - many are mystified at why Apple does this

Bev they are only talking about 5 and 6 Pro owners. Not 7 owners.
Your 7 Pro key will stay in effect.
