First of all, thanks for all of the great information so many of you have
shared on this list. I always learn something from the posts.

I have been lurking for some time now but now I have a question and am sure
that many of you will have some great suggestions. I have had an
computer/networking instructor that has been using the Frontline program
Hackers for a very long time. There is now a new instructor for the class and
she would like to use something more updated. Any recommendations? The main
topics she is looking for are: Computer Hackers/Security/Impact on the internet
/software/prevention, etc.

TIA

Molly,

There's a brand new film from ro*co called WE ARE LEGION: THE STORY OF THE
HACKTIVISTS which I previewed at NMM and would recommend. We are still waiting
for our copy to arrive, so it may not be quite ready, but it's definitely one
you should check out.

hi All,
Working in a visit to see the UW Libraries is an excellent idea for visitors to
Mid-Winter. Suzzalo is a fantastic library to see, especially the "Harry
Potter" reading room. I am not sure, but isn't the remodel to Odegaard
finished as well.

There are certainly bootlegs out there but not sure if they have English
titles. There is no legal US release. I remember years ago trying to
interest Kino in putting it out as they dealt with the Germans who owned
the vast majority of German films up through WW2 but there was a problem
because of the two remakes. Great film. The English remake, FIRST A GIRL
with Jessie Matthews is also charming.
