[Videolib] NMM News

2014-04-10 Thread Ursula Schwarz
Dear videolibbers,

Some of you have probably already heard that I have accepted a new position,
and will leave NMM by the end of the month.

The really good news is that Jessica Hammond will be replacing me. Jessica
has been with The Video Project since 2010, has attended several Markets and
has served on the NMM Board of Directors. Jessica will bring new energy and
fresh ideas and the Market will continue to flourish with her leadership.

It has been a pleasure to work with you over the last 10 years. I thank you
for your support and patience with the inevitable glitches and unforeseen
challenges (who can forget the broken pipes at the Mesa HiltonŠ.) and wish
all of you the very best and huge budgets!

Best regards,

Liebe Ursula,

We join the chorus of those who wish you all the best in your new adventures,
and commend you on ten amazing years of leadership management with the NMM.
You brought your own pizzazz and chutzpah, and tamed those wild-tiger vendors.
We will miss you, Ursula, but know that you have left a legacy of excellence.

All the best,
Elizabeth

Subject: [Videolib] NMM News

Dear videolibbers,

Some of you have probably already heard that I have accepted a new position,
and will leave NMM by the end of the month.

The really good news is that Jessica Hammond will be replacing me. Jessica has
been with The Video Project since 2010, has attended several Markets and has
served on the NMM Board of Directors. Jessica will bring new energy and fresh
ideas and the Market will continue to flourish with her leadership.

It has been a pleasure to work with you over the last 10 years. I thank you for
your support and patience with the inevitable glitches and unforeseen
challenges (who can forget the broken pipes at the Mesa Hilton) and wish
all of you the very best and huge budgets!

Best regards,

Ursula Schwarz

Re: [Videolib] NMM News

2014-04-10 Thread Deg Farrelly
Ursula and Jessica

Having served on the NMM board for 2 years, one as the chair, I can strong
attest to how much Ursula's tireless efforts contributed to the success of
the Market!

Through good times and lean, Ursula has been the face of the National
Media MarketŠ a great problem resolver, a promoter, an idea generator, a
relationship builder. We who rely on the Market as an essential selection
tool will miss you very much!

Yet with change there is new opportunity, for you, in your new position.
May they come to treasure and respect you as much as we (buyers), and I
(personally) do. May you find your new opportunities reinvigorating,
rewarding (in many ways) and challengingŠ not with insurmountable
challenges, but with the type that stimulate and excite professionally and
personally.

While you are a very tough act to follow, I have no doubt that Jessica is
one who do it. I already have had the pleasure of working with her both
in relation to VideoProject and MediaHub. And I know her capabilities are
strong, her interest keen, and her enthusiasm contagious.

Doors close and openŠ my very best wishes to both of you.
