Audio in from tape recorder to have word processor show it.

I want to take a tape recorder with a voice recording and plug it into
my Mac and have the record words show up in my word processor. The
correct term maybe to "transcribe" the audio tape voice to the Mac Word
processor.

Anyone is welcome to share their experience. Thanks

I realize this list may not be the one. Even though I have a LC, LC
lll, mac ll, I also have access to a Performa 638 CD, Performa 6200CD
(Power Mac), Power Mac 5400/120, and Power Mac 7300/200, PowerMac
G3/233 both having Fire Wire/USB PCI Cards.

Re: TCP/IP Problems CHECKING THE BOX

My experience. Box never has been checked, not sure I want to check it? If
I connect through the "PPP", I seem to be in control. I often get dropped
off the server. When that happens, and I was connected and go to another web
site or send mail Netscape starts to automatically connect me.

When I allow that to happen, I seem to lose control. At times while
connected I hear my processor clicking away (working) when I was not doing
anything. When I disconnect, just out of the blue after a while I start to
log on and I did nothing.
