I have many IIci's some with the Aztek and some with the Delta, they
are identical. The fan slides out, labels are even in the exact same
spot with the same orientation.

Did the Delta ones not have the slide out fan? My IIci
has an Astek supply with the slide out fan.

with them in proper positions to print out a new

Yeh it's hard work doing it all by hand but the results are much better
IMHO. Plus you gain more satisfaction if it takes 2 hours of hard graft
than a 2 minute spell with a Dremel tool.

Read the last sentence again :)

I used a hacksaw blade and a set of heavy duty metal files. When i did
the Quadra 805 my dad used a jigsaw to cut the hole and we had terrible
trouble with the ABS plastic melting and self-sealing. It also made, a
really terrible job of it and left rough edges all over the place. I
decided power tools were not the way forward this time. So I got a
battery powered drill, a hacksaw blade and the files and cut it out by
hand. for the video/AV socket I drilled two holes approximately in the
right places and cut between them with the saw blade and opened it out
with a great deal of cutting and filing. It was a bit too wide, which
annoyed me a bit, but once I tidied it up a bit it didn't look that
bad, and it is more or less hidden behind the enormous video connector
now anyway. With the other two slots I just started in hole where a
port was on the IIcx and cut my way sideways. I then just opened them
out with a few files and leveled them off. On the inside I had to cut
the tops off most of the peers that held the IIcx lobo down, the only
two that fit are on the NuBus side between the NuBus and PDS slots. I
was shocked at how well it all did fit in the case. Shows how much of a
bunch of cheap-skates Apple are/were ;). I cleaned the flash off on the
inside from my vigorous filing with a sharp knife and vacuumed out the
box before I put anything back in it. That's about it.

It looks good, Mark! I didn't realize that the power supply and
motherboard fit so well into the IIcx/IIci form factor. What kind of
tool did you use to cut into the plastic on the back panel? I'm eyeing

Yes there is. The equivalent hole is is where one of the chassis mounts
for the drive chassis bolts down in the 7100 IIRC.

The entire board fits perfectly. The speaker carrier/board retainer
(wedge) fits fine, the reset buttons fit fine, the NuBus slots align
perfectly. Only the mounting posts (the fins that stick up through the
board), the retaining slots at the back and the back panel itself do
not line up right, but that was soon solved with a hacksaw and a set of
metal files.
