I have been looking on intel site for the particular p4 that apple would be using, but searching even for just the word apple yields little. I was curious to know which particular pentium4 apple uses or will use. I have built several pentium 4 systems, one with dual processors, so spent a bit of time reading the intel specs for the 865PE and 875PE chipsets in the 478 pin config. Does anyone know what name the apple intel chip will go by, assuming it is a pentium4 ? Links are welcome. Just because Intel will be manufacturing the chips doesn't mean that future Macs will be running Pentium 4's. If Apple gives them specs for a PPC, they'll make it.
