Problem with Facebook app and push notifications, please help!
Hello all. I use the official Facebook app, along with the new integration features, on my iPhone 4 running iOS 6. Up until a few days ago, I could receive push notifications from my close friends list, or Facebook in general, no problem! But now, I am not getting them at all! I do however get them via e-mail and they show up on my news feed on the mobile site. So I know it is not a problem with Facebook itself, just the official app. I even tried reinstalling it to no avail. I asked my friend Gary Price on Skype last night, and he is not having this issue on his iPhone 4 running iOS 6. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Please reply as soon as possible. Thanks so much! Another friend said you could just start typing the friend’s name and a drop down menu would appear and the names would come up. I tried that but it didn’t work for me like if you want to tag someone at the beginning of a status. I then wondered if it was like on the main facebook page where you had to press enter and then put an at sign in and then with no spaces type the person’s name. Hi, I am not sure about photos: as I have never tried that. However, you can tag people in status updates and check ins. Once you have clicked on either Status update or Check In, flick through that screen until you get to the Select Friends button and double tap it. This will open up the friends dialog. You have a search field up the top and your friends are listed below, but VoiceOver doesn't read your friends name. The way to work around this for now is to double tap on the search field and type enough of your friends name to narrow down the list to just that friend. If you then do a single right flick from the search field, you will hear a click sound and voiceOver will not say anything. However, if you double tap here, your friends name will be added. You will be able to see their name in the search edit field. To add another friend, just double tap on the search edit field again then type a space and start typing the second friends name. If the first friend you added was not the correct one, double tap on the search edit field and in stead of typing a space first, just start typing the name of the friend you want to add and this will overwrite the first incorrect one. Martin, I heartily endorse this app. I can read Bookshare books on my victor, too, but I dislike that voice. Read2Go includes Acapella voices; my personal favorite is Heather. I find it much more listenable than Victor's limited offerings for BookShare. problem with tomtom in ios6 when reading search results
Hi there. I noticed that when I search for a street and the query brings many results ( 30 for example ) I can read the first 10. But after it, voiceover stops speaking and even I change pages it doesn’t read the other results. I tried to report it, but unfortunatelly their support page is messy and has a lot of links with the word “close”. Have any body else experienced the same accessibility problem? How do I send an app as a gift card?
Hi. I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I'm trying to send an app as a gift card in App store in IOS6, but I can't find the feature. I have looked everywhere I can think of: In the app describtion where you buy the app, under updates, purchased apps, redeen where you can enter the code to a gift card etc, butI can't find it.
