I also have this focus problem on the roll button. It all started with ios 8. I have experienced it on two phones. Originally on an iphone 5, and when I upgraded to an iphone 6. I am currently experiencing it on an iphone 6 running ios 8.3. I tested it after getting the message elsewhere as well. The description does work on ABC's shows that have it. If you have a provider that isn't TWC and is on their list, the more providers option does let you see a list accessibly. There are some control accessibility issues, but I’m sure if we point them out, they can update the app to fix those issues. Again, we should definitely thank ABC for making video description available on their app. They should be nominated for an ADP award for being the first of the networks to do it. This is so exciting! If they're going to initiate the call, you shouldn't need their Skype name ahead of time. You should just get a message that you're receiving a call and an option to accept it or not. I have a 5S and running the latest IOS. It's been doing this to mesince I got the phone with 8 on it. I also have a problem with the mail and the Pocket app. An example is in the mail app, I read an email, then focus on the archive button in the middle on the bottom. A double tap will launch the reply dialog box. If I understand what you're saying, I have the same problem in the Mail app. If I find the delete button by touch and double tap then I end up in the reply dialog. If I get to the delete button by flicking left or right then I don't have this problem. I get around it by touching the delete button and then doing a flick left. If it says delete then I double tap. If it says move then I flick right back to the delete button and double tap. I reported this problem to Apple when it first appeared in IOS 8, but it might help if others reported it as well. Hello, So I have played with this a lot this weekend. I discovered that you can do Skype video on the iPhone 6 Plus. I have it all worked out and have tried it a couple of times this weekend. I have discovered that this is better for me because I may not have Wi-Fi where I will be at the time of the interview. Now, I just have one question. I am going to tell them my Skype name. A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT PICTURES
Hi all, I've really avoided taking my own pictures, apart from the odd one or two ages ago, and this has been my approach also when it comes to putting up items of FaceBook as I haven't done that in a long time. Now I think I should really try to get to grips again with these items. First, someone sent me a photo the other day which I do want to keep and also to put up on FaceBook. How to I label it and will the name stick once labelled and where will it go on my phone when I save it from the email? Finally, how do I put it from my phone to my wall in FaceBook? Be My Eyes
Hi all, I have just registered with Be My Eyes and have tried using the app for the first time. Having allowed the app to use both my microphone and camera I made a connection to the first available helper. I wanted them to read some cooking instructions for me that were on a ready meal and unfortunately although they could just about see the packaging when the first connection was made the screen went black and they could se nothing through the camera. I disconnected and tried again but exactly the same thing happened. Can anyone who uses this app please advise what the problem might be? A quick check in the US app store brings up a boat load of metronome apps many are free. I picked metronome pro free. There was a play button but I couldn't find a tempo button. I tried flicking up/down/left/right and couldn't get the app to tick. I deleted the app from my iPhone 5s. I selected the TV show Cops and had no trouble getting it to play the selected episode but I've only had the app a very short time and I'm not all that big on TV watching anyway. problem with dice world
Just wanting to ask, if anyone else, is having a problem with the roll button with the dice world game. seems like there is a focus issue. I have to tap more than once, or swipe away from the roll button and back again, before it will activate the roll. Me and my sister maria, have both experienced this problem, and written to the developer. But have never received a reply. Carol, First, as for labeling, do a two finger double tap and hold. When you hear the tri-tones, lift your fingers and you will find an edit box. When you are done with the label hit OK, or save or done, I can't remember the wording right now. I think images saved from Email go to your camera roll, but I'm not sure. As for tips on taking pictures, I'd recommend buying Judi Dixon's book, Get The Picture: http://www.nbp.org/ic/nbp/GETPIC.html She is totally blind and wrote a very thorough book on taking pictures and using a wide variety of camera related apps.
