No it is not.
In my original review, I covered what is on the 5s and 6s.
Someone claimed they had the product option on a 5s but I just deleted the app 
and reinstalled it, and still no product feature.
It is available on my iPod Touch 6th generation.
That one is running the public beta of iOS, so I do not know if that makes a 
difference.

Test Message

Just trying to see if my problem has been resolved.  That bunch of messages
that flooded the list from me this morning, was a collection of messages
that I had sent over the past 5 days, that didn't come through until I
contacted Mark, and he found and released them.  

 

After that, I tried sending another message, and it didn't go through.  So I
contacted my son, who hosts the server that my email account is on.  He had
moved it to another server, and that's where the problem originated.  

 

So, I'm giving it another try to see if the problem is fixed.

So I'm ramping up the pace a bit, as the intro video included no actual coding.

Here is tutorial 1: the basics on setting up your 3D scene for audio. The link

That one will come in a later podcast :) Not too far out though, but each of 
these take time as I prepare each scene, the assets, the recording, chop them 
up, upload the example files, etc. But we'll get there quite soon enough :)

big issue with updating and restoring my phone

Ok I have a huge issue over here getting my phone back to 10.3.2. I had 
tried the beta earlier but didn't like it for now. So I did a backup in 
itunes prior to everything and am now trying to update and restore back 
to 10.3.2. However it keeps going around in this loop and telling me 
that I need to update over and over again after it finishes. Right now 
it's updating to 10.3.2. Once this is finished it will come back and 
tell me to update and restore. Then it goes back to this iphone has a 
problem and needs to be updated. How do I get out of this and to the 
start screen where I can restore from my backup?

that’s what seems to work for me.  If I just lock the device, my desktop always 
grabs the display before the phone can.  Granted, my house isn’t that big, but 
I can even be in a different room and the computer gets first dibs on the 
display!!

 I'm the software dev from OSeyeris, and I'm happy to present you a

 3D binaural experiences using swift, playground and Xcode.

 concepts to make your code and 3D application more efficient.

 Finally, as I have started this series, the format might need some

 thoughts or how you would like the tutorials to go forward.

 Also, if you already have some swift knowledge, contact me and maybe we 
 can work together to complete the platform as it includes many many 
 features, and is not limited to playing games but has applications in 
 education, audio editing and virtual audio reality. It can be hosted on 
 OSX, IOS, appleTV and can also be controlled with a Leap motion infrared 
 controller. I will release a video very shortly with a demonstration of 
 the Leap motion which can capture 3D volumetric information of your hands.

For the first time in 2 years, I asked for a refund on 2 Uber trips a
couple of days ago. They were with the same driver, and in boht cases
we had trouble connecting. I sent him messages both times explaining
where I was, that I was blind, and asked him to identify himself when
he arrived. I even tried calling him but I got a message saying that
they weren't receiving calls. I disputed both charges and went through
the same process. I was prepared to write out my experiences in a text
field, but instead was given several items to choose from for my
reason, and one of them was that we could not connect. On the
confirmation screen, it said that I had a credit for that trip on my
account. I was very impressed that the refund process was so fast and
immediate, and that I was not asked for more information.

Okay, so I took the plunge last night and updated to the latest version of VDR, 
and I still can't get things to work. God, Apple, you're super annoying the 
crap out of me right now! Why'd you have to go and set restrictions on in-app 
browsers? Anyway, I tried everything I can think of with this link. It's a link 
to a Cool Blind Tech podcast. Yes, I know I can just go find it in downcast, 
but not everything's in downcast. Anyhow, the link is to a page with an 
explanation of the podcast, with a link to play it or download it. I 
double-tapped and held on the play link, which brought up a share option. When 
I selected save to Voice Dream, it looked like it was going to make a text file 
in VDR with the link as the text in the file, which is not what I wanted. so I 
did a regular double-tap on the link, and the podcast started playing. I 
pressed the exit full screen button, and got another share button. Great, I 
thought. It'll work this time. Nope. After pressing save to Voice Dream, I was 
presentedwith a pop up with a save button and a done button. Also buttons for 
article, pdf, and fulltext. Both article and pdf buttons were dimmed, so I left 
them alone. When I pressed the save button, the pop up stayed up. I went to 
check on the progress of the file in VDR after a minute or so, and nothing was 
there. I repeated the process, this time hitting done instead of save. This 
time, the pop up closed, and the file still wasn't in VDR! i could chuck my 
phone across the room at this point! What on Earth am I doing wrong? Arrgh!

If it is a generic ePub book, not DRM protected, Voice Dream Reader has read 
that format for several versions now, if not from the beginning.

The first intro is just a demo of what is being developed right now. We are 
adding a tone generator that targets objects around you and gives you a cue on 
orientation and distance of the object, alongside identifying the object and 
voice over naming it as you rotate around the world.

 on the lab page.

If it is an iBook that is not in the public domain, it is likely DRM protected, 
and might be anyway.
The rule of thumb, is if it is in iBooks, Kindle, Nook, or any other 
prepriratory format, it cannot be read by Voice Dream Reader.
Kindle books can be converted if you have version 1.17 of the Kindle for PC and 
the Codex utility software.

Hi All

 

I'm using the latest version of Facebook but did have the problem with the
previous update.  Also, running IOS 10.3.2 on an IPhone 5s.

 

Okay, when I'm in Facebook and click on the Requests button the second tab
in.  I swipe down to Suggested Friends.

 

I can swipe down and hear the various friends suggested.  However, if I
click on a friend It brings up everybodies profile.

 

It doesn't matter if I'm at the top of the list, in the middle or at the end
it does not open the profile of the suggested friend I am clicking on.

 

I have closed Facebook via the app switcher but still have the same
problems.

 

Any thoughts please.

3D binaural experiences using swift, playground and Xcode.

I have just started using it, but I can say that it is surprisingly well 
constructed. I was told that it is almost identicle to the Apple keyboard. I 
like that it is a full size keyboard including a full numpad. i like the solid 
feel of the keys. It is not very portable, however, as it does not fold. one of 
the main reasons that i choze that one is it bears my wife's maden name. LOL!

You have to have quick nap on in order for that up-and-down arrow press thing 
to work as described. How do you like that keyboard? I have been tempted to buy

I will be posting 18 videos in total, starting from the basics and ramping up 
progressively to more interesting features such as A.I behavior, networking for 
multiplay, audio engine filters and accoustics, direct recording and playback 
as well as some SegueWay videos on some coding concepts to make your code and 
3D application more efficient.
Finally, as I have started this series, the format might need some 
improvements, so please don't hesitate to contact me and tell me your thoughts 
or how you would like the tutorials to go forward.
Also, if you already have some swift knowledge, contact me and maybe we can 
work together to complete the platform as it includes many many features, and 
is not limited to playing games but has applications in education, audio 
editing and virtual audio reality. It can be hosted on OSX, IOS, appleTV and 
can also be controlled with a Leap motion infrared controller. I will release a 
video very shortly with a demonstration of the Leap motion which can capture 3D 
volumetric information of your hands.

Re: Human where BI 32 display pairing separately with more than one device?

Mary,
I have the braillient bi 40, and I can pair it with several devices at once.  I 
have it paired with my desk top mac and my i phone.  As long as I turn off 
bluetooth on one of them, I can then use the display with the other.  
sometimes, it can be finicky to get the display to pair again with the phone 
after I’ve not used it for a while, but I am putting that down to probably 
something I am not doing properly as I haven’t used it with the phone that much 
and am still learning all the tricks, etc.

New podcaast series on how to create a 3D game now available

Hi Everyone,

I'm the software dev from OSeyeris, and I'm happy to present you a tutorial 
series I have started that will help you create and code your own 3D binaural 
experiences using swift, playground and Xcode.

I have tried to broaden the audience as much as possible, from those who wish 
to understand code more to those who already have advanced knowledge.

Our podcast series are in youtube video format but the example code for each 
tutorial is available on our website.

Here is the link to the intro video where I demonstrate a fully featured 3D 
audio game we are working on and hoping to release soon as a set of 
applications to play and start creating your own immersive world. We are also 
currently beta testing thee engine with a local school for special needs and
