Apple Watch, iPhone and Plantronics Voyager Edge Bluetooth Headset, A Winning Combination

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to thank Sieghard for informing the group about how well Apple
Watch and iPhone work with the Plantronics Voyager Edge Bluetooth headset,
specifically with regard to seamless switching between the watch and the
phone.  

I am still in shock at how beautifully it works.  It's as close to magic as
I've gotten with Apple for quite a while.  

I'm mean, there's absolutely nothing to it.  When you use the phone,
VoiceOver comes through the headset and when you use the watch, VoiceOver
comes through the headset.  It's instant.  

Now don't get me wrong, I love my AirPods but, to be honest, I have yet to
find a consistent method of switching the audio between the watch and the
phone.

Thank to the Edge, I may actually consider activating the LTE feature on my
watch as now I can imagine a watch-only scenario when out-and-about.

So, if you want seamless audio switching between Apple watch and iPhone,
definitely give the Voyager Edge a try.

The account page also has a link to Subscriptions, so you can see what you're 
subscribed to. And you should get receipts via email that tell you what all of 
your purchases are.

Extracting a portion of recording from audio memos

Hi,

Using audio memos pro I have a recording of 4 hours and 40 minutes and i want 
to extract from 4 hours 9 minutes to 4 hours  19 minutes, how would i do that? 
I have set markers but they don’t seem to work as when i vo to the refractor 
bit all of the recording is there and nothing happens when i press on the 
markers button (i thought it would jump to a specific marker) also when i try 
to select a specific portion of the recording it only allows me to select 
lengths of 14 minutes and 2 seconds long. so by the time i have gone to 4 hours 
i can only select from 4 hours 12 minutes to 4 hours 26 minutes which leaves 
out part of the recording i wanted. is there a way i can select any part of the 
recording rather than being arbitrarily restricted by audio memos as to the 
particular time i can choose?

privately let me know how to do this, or point me to a more appropriate list to 
get my question answered, or maybe several regarding the Echo Dot, I’d really 
appreciate the help.  I do have a question regarding accessing skill content in 
the Amazon Alexa app, and I’ll send that in a separate message since I know 
that’s iOS related.

There is a very good echo email list.  The traffic is steady but not quite as 
heavy as on this list.  To subscribe send an email to:

As with most all lists, you’ll get an email asking you to confirm your 
subscription.  Just reply to it & you’re in.

I did that too. 

Finally, I went in again, tried rotor again, some way found Done. I double 
tapped. The only thing I can think of is that I was editing a phone number 
right before supper, got interrupted, thought I hit Done after the edit. I 
checked back, and the edited number is there, so that's a good thing. I am 
thinking that I must have thought I pressed Done and actually did not with a 
lot of distractions. For one thing, my husband wanted to do the edit, but for 
some reason, couldn't manage it, but I did. It is a third number - home, work, 
and iPhone. So, thanks for suggestion. I am a big one on closing aps, and 
especially if something seems out of sync.

Table Index.

Somehow, my Table Index is not working, not navigable. I
have tried to rotor; I have tried to just double tap when I
got on it. I can't make it work and am very dependent on it
with over 150 contacts, which might not be many to some, but
nevertheless, works way better with Table Index.

perchus history.


This should show you your resent perchus and give more  info about your 
itunes perchuses.
