apps for streaming entire audio folders from Dropbox

2020-01-15 Thread Kwork
I know Dropbox files can be played using iOS, but not more than one in a
row without activating each one individually.

Are there any apps that will connect to Dropbox, and that will let you
stream full folders at a time, and even create playlists from those
streams? Thanks so much.

Re: Any news about VO Tutorial and Money Reader?

2020-01-15 Thread Kwork
Completely silent. Time to switch to Cash Reader for those who have lost
the NantMobile Money Reader due to phone reset or upgrade. At least that
one's being actively developed. More expensive for a lifetime license,
$17.99 with a 14 day free trial, but I think LookTel will have a long
road to climb if they ever return to gain anyone's trust. A shame as
their products did work, and the VO Tutorial was one of the tools I used
to learn Voiceover back in the day.

Firstly, apologies for the cross post.

As some of you may know, the “LookTel” apps have not been

My sincerest apologies for the silence on this. I have not had any

As of now, the apps that were there will be back. I would give

Thanks, Maria.

It seems odd that this setting can't be reached through Settings, Notifications

Hi. When you get the notification, go to the notification center and swipe down
until you hear manage. double tap on that and one of the options in that little
menu is deliver quietly.

Netflix and AirPlay

2020-01-15 Thread Tom Lange
Hi,
I’m using an iPhone 8 with IOS 13.3. I also have a pair of Sonos-1 speakers
that I use when playing podcasts or Apple Music. The other night I wanted to
check out something on Netflix and I couldn’t find any way to direct the sound
to the Sonos speakers through AirPlay. Does Netflix support AirPlay, and if so,
how can I turn it on?
Thanks in advance.

I'm honestly not sure which is better.
I know some people in some areas were having trouble getting the audio

I think most had good success with the PBS Videos app, though, as you say, it
is doable, but not straight forward.
I'd say try it with Safari and see if that is any better, but I'm going to
guess using their app might be as good as it gets.

How to set a specific app notifications to deliver quietly?

Issue when reading text messages

2020-01-15 Thread Shermeen Khan
Hi all,

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but I only noticed it
now. I'm using an iPhone 11 pro max with IOS 11.3, and have noticed
that hwen I'm in a message window, and if I happen to tap the screen,
I'll be cycling through the last messages I've sent to many other
people, almost as if I am simultaneously in the message window with
one person, as well as in the main list of messages. Does anyone know
how to get rid of this clutter or view? It's ultimately ok, but can
certainly throw me off occasionally and make me think I'm replying to
one person when I intend to reply to another.

Thanks very much,
Shermeen

RE: RE: Contact with several phone numbers. Which number call me?

2020-01-15 Thread Anne West
Hello Guillero and nice to meet you.

I’m shaking my head because I’m at a loss as to how to help you. Apparently the
5S recent calls are handled differently than the newer phones. I use an iPhone
8.

Can you call Apple Accessibility? The advisors should be able to help you.
Hopefully you can call without paying.

Anne

2020-01-14 17:10:20 + Anne West mailto:k1stm...@gmail.com> > :

My doctor has 2 phone number from which he calls. I have both in 1 contact.
When a call comes in from the office, my phone gives me the doctor’s name. The
number he used is in my recent call list, sort of. The doctor’s name is in my
recent call list but swiping down to more info and tapping twice on it, gives
me the number used to call me plus other info.

Thank you but I can't understand “...but swiping down to more info and tapping
twice on it,…”.

If I’m in the recent call list, I can’t do “swiping down to more info” in my
iPhone 5s, system 12.4.x. It must be in later iPhones. I must click in the info
icon (i) into a circle. Then I see the complete contact info, with every phone
it have, but none of these marked as the one used in that call.

In my discovey I see that it only works with failed calls (number in red), but
if I have a contact with at least two phone numbers (a home number and a
cellular) and we had a conversation, I can’t know if he/she was talking from
his/her home phone or his/her cellular.

I must CLICK to call, then I see which of them were used for the calling, but I
must cancel the calling because it was not my desire to talk, I only wanted to
know which was the number used.

What a silly thing, isn’t it?

Some blue border started showing around my text in iOS 13

2020-01-15 Thread Vehid Dziho
Hi, Did anybody have this issue?

Need to change this, the application is written in Objective C and I am
struggling to figure out this. The blue border does not show in View
Debugger.

I tried to change the UIWebView to WKWebView, because UIWebView is
depricated, but it won't get rid of it.

Anybody know anything about this?
