Apple ID

Hi

 

Has anyone needed to change their Apple ID before and if so what are the best 
steps to take and in which order please?  I get the feeling it might not be all 
that straightforward bearing in mind there is iCloud and all sorts to think 
about.  

 

I was hoping not to have to do this but due to some confusion on the part of my 
ISP they have closed my account and so my emails to that particular email 
address are no longer accessible to me.  I am trying to get this rectified but 
I don’t hold out much hope.

You can do the change by going to applied.apple.com

I can’t remember the steps but that site will give you the info you need.

Don, I searched the APP store and found several digital hymnals but I'm 
reluctant to download or purchase any because I can't find out whether their 
content is accessible with voiceOver. Perhaps I'll take the risk and purchase 
one of them and let you and the others on this list know whether it works or 
not.

There are at least a couple different things calling themselves the Cyber 
Hymnal on line.
The one I know of the best is hymnary.org

There is another which has a ton of spelling errors, maybe this is what you 
wanted:

If you do a web search, there are quite a few more that all seem to be free 
access to lots of hymns.

extension but it's no longer there. That may be the one the original person

That is why it is really worthwhile to get an Outlook.com or Gmail.com email 
address. Once you have it you never have to change your email address again 
regardless whether you change ISP or not.
Anyways, you simply go to http://AppleID.apple.com, log in with  your existing 
email address/Apple Id and then click on the link to change it, it is in fact 
very straight forward.

Has anyone needed to change their Apple ID before and if so what are the best 
steps to take and in which order please?  I get the feeling it might not be all 
that straightforward bearing in mind there is iCloud and all sorts to think

I was hoping not to have to do this but due to some confusion on the part of my 
ISP they have closed my account and so my emails to that particular email 
address are no longer accessible to me.  I am trying to get this rectified but 
I don’t hold out much hope.

Correct card in Apple?

I am trying to see what card I have in my Apple ID.  I am sure it is out of 
date and want to change it.  I go in to settings, and where it has my name, 
apple ID iCloud, media and purchases button.  Now I find, Payment and 
shipping button.  In there is my husbands card that says this is used for 
family sharing.  I do not want to use this card when making purchases 
through the app store and wonder what happened with my card that I 
originally had in here.  Can someone tell me where I can find where this 
cards info is stored and how I can keep using it?

In the kindle app, once you open a book, if you double tap the screen, the 
kindle app will take you to the book menu. There at the bottom of the screen, 
the app will tell you what page you currently are on. at the top of the screen, 
if you double tap open navigation drawer you have various options for 
navigating through the book. First, you have the go to page option. There you 
can type in the page number you wish to go to go to then double tap go and you 
will be taken to that page or possibly the one immediately before it.  There's 
also a move to location option, but I'm not sure how that works. Finally, you 
can move by chapter by double tapping the chapter or location you want in the 
table of contents.  Each chapter label tells you what page it begins on.
