If this is everything, then it is likely an issue with your phone. How much memory is free? Do you clear out the app switcher? Yep, I'm having this problem, too, but it's not limited to Bookshare for me, it's with absolutely everything, and it's driving me totally nuts! I only use an iPhone, so I can't comment on library synching issues. However, it either takes two downloads of something and then I have to fully-working coppies, or I have to keep downloading something and then I have like 4 or 5 copies, only to have only the last work actually be functional. Having seen the devs comments on adding Bookshare support, I'm a little loath to support him. To be fair, I don't know the other side of things, and perhaps Bookshare was not great to deal with. I think I find it odd that he says it's not worth supporting Bookshare because of the low number of Bookshare downloads he got. I find this rather hard to believe, as Bookshare, at least in the United States (I don't know about other countries), is quite popular. Perhaps he doesn't have as wide of a userbase of blind people as he might think? I thought of trying out Speech Central, but I'm hesitant to do so because of Bookshare support not being in the app. Voice Dream Reader has been frankly driving me crazy with its downloading of titles only to have them be not available in the library. This isn't happening only with Bookshare, but with everything else. speech Central and Bookshare question

I just tried downloading a book from Bookshare.org on my  iPad Mini 6.

It downloaded through Edge (my browser of choice) just fine.

I cannot figure out a way to get it into the Speech Central app.

 

It doesn't seem to see it.

Does it have to be unzipped?  What exactly should one do to get it into the
Books and articles section of Speech Central?

This might be a question to ask from your cellular provider since the voice 
mail greeting is controlled by your provider and not by the phone and it should 
certainly have nothing at all to do with the ringtone you use. I have many 
ringtones I use for various contacts and I change my default ringtone pretty 
regularly and it neve rhas made a difference to my recorded voice mail greeting.

I just downloaded a book with the latest Voice Dream reader, and I’m happy to report that it instantly appeared in my library on my iPad, just as it should. Problem with greeting

Hello,

 

Since my ringtone suddenly changed, my greeting often disappears, and I have
to tap on default to get it back. Otherwise, if someone calls, she can hear
that I didn't set up my voicemail.

I don't want to lose this particular greeting that I recorded a long time
ago.

Is there anything that I can do to prevent this problem?

My phone is SE20 version 17.

When I share from Safari article now appears reliably in voice Dream Reede. - whereas I could not see any of my library in iPad app before the update and downloaded articles from Safari would sometimes simply be grayed out and impossible to open. please, sory for off-topic question, but I don't know where to ask and 
many people who are on this list are on other lists, so I might find 
info here.
    I used to be a member of "Blindtech" list and it was pretty active, 
but all of a sudden I stopped getting mails from the list and when I 
tried to post a question, it says the group is not available any more.
Please, does anyone know what happened and if there is any other list 
where general questions about technology can be posted?
