Very good demonstration, Richard. Now, is this included in the Seeing AI
app, if you download, that part is there? I an a new user, haven't the
slightest idea, but am overjoyed to see the benefit I could get from this
app. So, what I am asking, if I download Seeing AI, is this feature a part
of it.

Also, do I go to iTunes or where to download Seeing AI? Thanks.

Best regards,

Carolyn

Hello,

I did a short recording of a demonstration of the Seeing AI Product Channel.

What I didn’t say in the recording is that when you hear the first beep from
your device, slowly turn the item you are attempting to identify until the
beeps become faster and steady. Then, slowly move the item closer to the
device and when you are between 4 and 6 inches from the device, you should
get results.

Here is a direct link to the mp3 file.

Hi,

I have had iphones since the very first 4 came out, but have never used
Facetime! I just tried it and found it did work, but the sound was routed
through the small speaker, the one used by the phone, how can I get it to
route via the large speaker at the bottom of the phone?

Thanks, Sandy.

Hello list
I did an upgrade and now I have no speech. I do hear the clicks when I move my
finger on the screen. When I press the round button three times quickly I hear
“voice over off” but pressing it again three times quickly does not bring
speech back, however I can hear the clicks again. I did a factory reset and a
fresh setup but the problem still persists. Does anyone else experience this
and how does one report this to apple. I can not phone because phone calls from
South Africa are quite expensive.

This thing with how the emoji keyboard is now sounding in keyboards is
just something else to deal with, besides how they changed the sound of
the up-and-down volume buttons, and earlier, the way FaceTime sounds when
you make a call, and hell now, on the iPod touch with FaceTime, you have
to be using earphones for some reason in order to have any control of the
buttons, which never used to be the case. I wrote to Apple asking why
they have to do stuff like this, as a post to fixing what we point out,
like how before, the clipboard would clear out, as opposed to now, if you
want to copy and paste more than one thing, you have to hit copy twice in
order to get the right thing put onto the clipboard, to paste, and why
you now have to go through a process in order to delete individual items
from history in safari, all of which never used to be this way. It is
discouraging to have an older iPod on ios9.5, since it can’t be updated,
but which works the way it’s supposed to with these things.

Hi

Simon,

What email service do you use? You

must be using IMAP, Exchange Active

Sync (that is Outlook.com) or full

Exchange (typically used by businesses)

for your mail to sync across

devices.

Even gmail and

Outlook.com accounts can still be set up as POP accounts

and this service does not support

Sent messages syncing across devices or

features where if you reply to a

message say on your computer it will also

show as replied to on your iPhone

with the reply associated to the message

etc.

Subject: IOS 9.2

Hello all, I am disappointed with these latest two versions! 9.2 and 9.1, voice
over simply studders very frequently. I tried holding the power button and home
button it stays for a while very clear for a day or half a day or sometimes Two
days even, but, studders again. I tried unmuting for a minute and then put the
speech on again, still it is the same. Is it my phone’s fault or the updates,
when I was using IOS 8 I had no problem at all, I feel badly for updating. I
thought 9.2 will be fine, I in fact waited for an update thinking voice over
will be fixed, but it isn’t. Please let me know what you all think about this,
and give me please some solution. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again,
Ruby
