Re: how to listen to major league games

T-Mobile. It gives me MLB TV and game day audio. It is great! All courtesy of
T-Mobile.

Hello all,
What is the purpose of having haptic touch at the top and bottom edges of the
Apple Watch series 6 screen? There is a vibration at the top and bottom edges
but not the left and right edges. Nothing seems to happen other than the
vibration when touching those areas. What is it for?
Thanks,

2019-10-24 Thread Dave Jones
She has never done this. She does not tap on or respond to anything without
reading it thoroughly. And to assume that she may have done this every year
for the last four or five years is out of the question. Others here have
stated that they never agreed to it and that they have all updates
including iOS updates disabled. Why is it that folks always jump to the
conclusion that when something like this happens that the users have done
something wrong? I am always required to agree and type my pin, but never
doubt that the issue that others have reported is indeed real. But maybe
that's just me. Perhaps we should give those with the issue some credit.

Re: I never meant to update.

2019-10-23 Thread Dave Jones
The same thing happened with my wife’s phone just after iOS 13 was
released. All of her updates including iOS updates has been disabled yet
she would’ve woke one morning to find that her phone was updated to iOS 13.
In fact, this has been going on for her since iOS 9. She has not been able
to stop this from happening. And yes. Everything automatic is and has been
disabled on her phone. Additionally, a couple of the low vision features
that she uses have been broken in iOS 13. You cannot imagine how furious
she has been about it.

2019-10-13 Thread Dave Jones
As stated previously, Apple Maps and Google maps both have the ability to
list the steps taken within a route. I wouldn’t pay the extravagant fee for
Seeing AI GPS or others when there are free ones that will do an excellent
job. I use them all the time navigating on foot and in a car with no
problem whatsoever. Have a good day.

Invert color’s and smart invert colors has issues IN iOS 13

2019-09-28 Thread Dave Jones
Hello,
A friend's 8+ upgraded from iOS 12 a couple of days ago in spite of having
all updates turned off. She has depended on these features, and they have
worked out quite well. After the upgrade however, Invert seems to be
disabled each time she goes into another app. She then has to turn it off
and back on. It then stays on until she goes to another app which requires
her to repeat the steps. The behavior is the same if dark mode is on or
off. Any ideas? Has anyone else seen this? Thanks

It is indeed a very interesting concept. However, I am not 100% certain
that I follow its logic. Or perhaps what I mean to say is “follow the point
“. Why complicate things by having to remember words or use words to find
an address when using an address is the best way for someone to find you
in most cases? The address system currently being used has been tried and
true for what seems like forever. Am I also missing something?

That's not possible when the option to change or update a review which I
previously submitted is not there. Its not a matter of not being able to
write an update in the app store. The issue is that an existing review is
not able to be changed.

Hello, I cannot seem to edit my existing app store reviews any more. Is
anyone else having this problem? I am using iOS 12 latest build on an
iPhone 10R.

Re: Question about magnetic cables

2019-06-28 Thread Dave Jones
It has nothing to do with the headphone jack. It's only for the lightning
port. It's equally relevant to all phones if one desires to utilize one of
these cables. I for one think they are kind of neat.

Re: Question about magnetic cables

2019-06-28 Thread Dave Jones
The advantage is that you can leave the small lightning connector in the
port of the phone so when you are ready to charge it you simply stick the
end of the magnetic cable to it. Another advantage is if the cable is
yanked it easily separates so the phone doesn't go flying off of the
surface and slam onto the floor.

There are indeed magnetic lightning cables available that work quite well
and are safe to use.

Re: TapTapSee Creators Announce Next Generation of On-device Image Recognition; Detailed Descriptions in a Quarter

2019-06-01 Thread Dave Jones
Am I the only one that’s receiving an error message while trying to access
the Blind Bargains articles and other content stating that ads failed to
load? I’ve tried this on multiple devices from multiple locations with the
same result. Ads don’t load so articles and other content won’t load. I’m
not using an ad blocker.

Re: Free MLB subscription for T-Mobile customers

2019-03-09 Thread Dave Jones
Here is the plain and simple of it. You download the app from the App
Store. It sounds like you have already done this. If you have the T-Mobile
Tuesdays app, you will receive the offer on or around 26 March for the MLB
subscription. You will have to redeem the subscription through the T-Mobile
Tuesdays app. Then, you can set it up, and login to your premium account
using the MLB at bat app.

Re: Outlook for IOS?

2018-12-12 Thread Dave Jones
Hello
That outlook for iOS app appears to be completely accessible. Our use it
every day for work. You can indeed create new mail folders from in the app.
I have pasted the steps for doing this below from the outlook for iOS help
system.
Thank you,How do I add or create folders?

   1. Tap and hold any message from the inbox view.
   2. Icons at the bottom will allow you to flag, mark read/unread, move,
   delete, archive.
   3. Tap the move icon (folder). Once tapped, a list of existing folders
   in the account will appear.
   4. Tap the + icon located in the upper right hand corner of the app to
   create a new folder.

Good free app

2014-05-24 Thread Dave Jones
Hello everyone,
I came across an app which is free for a limited time. The name of the app
is Walk Log. I tried it today and it works out very well. Most of it's
features are very accessible while using voice over. It is a navigation app
which logs and tracks your walks while you are out. After the walk, it will
tell you the time that you walked and the distance traveled. If you save
the log, it will also save the route that you took. It will probably only
be free for a short time longer if this is something you are interested in,
you may want to hurry up and grab it before you have to pay for it in the
app store again.
