Re: 17.2 and recognising music

2023-12-15 Thread Donald Ball
It is not being caused by voiceover because I turned my voiceover off just now
when I saw your messages and it does not help. I however am running an iPhone
13 just like the person who wrote the email and mine is not working. Also I
don’t know what the problem is.

RE: Hey Siri, wake up!

2021-08-01 Thread Donald ball
Check the mute button. I know it seems obvious but I have left the mute on after meetings several times. Sent from Mail for Windows From: Duane SteeleSent: Sunday, August 1, 2021 2:00 PMTo: IPhone ListSubject: Hey Siri, wake up! I know this was covered recently. But I ignored the solution if there was one, because I thought SIRI was doing fine on my iPhone. However, now, whether I say "hey Siri", or hold down the home button to wake her, she remains silent, though the answer to my question appears on the screen and may be read with speech or braille. Can anyone take a  second to tell me how to reawaken SIRI. Thanks a lot.  Peace & Blessings,Pastor Duane L. RE: disappearing voiceover

2021-07-30 Thread Donald ball
What is happening is that you are pressing 3 fingers to the screen instead of 2. To restore the voice, Either,  press 3 fingers to the screen or turn voice over off and back on again. I guess we can fix the problem by changing the 3 finger gesture to something else. Maybe down the line the team could change it to something else that stops this from happening or we can be more careful. Sent from Mail for Windows From: Jenifer BarrSent: Friday, July 30, 2021 10:35 PMTo: viphone@googlegroups.comSubject: Re: disappearing voiceover I have the same issue... though I just turn voice-over off and back on again. I too noticed the change in page numbering, which I also think is a good thing.
I was worried that the widgets were gone, but you can still get to them my

Finally, I do think it would be nice to have a gesture where I can bring up the

I have a few pages, it would be nice to be able to get to the library directly.

For what it's worth, I have 5 pages of apps. In iOS 14, I was able to hide
pages 2-
5, so that I have my main home screen of apps. If I swipe
3 fingers left I'm in the App Library. Also, the App Library will use its own
organizational structure to sort your apps into folders. One thing I like about
the
App Library is there's a section near the top of recently installed apps, which
makes it easier to find those apps I just got.
Finally, though it's not directly related to the App Library, I noticed
something
yesterday when exploring. In prior iOS versions, page 2 was the first home
screen of apps, and page 1 was the widgets and notifications screen. In iOS 14,
your home screens actually start on page 1. I'm glad they made this change
since it was confusing when talking about the page numbers at times with
