1. Turn off "Find My Phone if it's on."

2. Sign out of everything associated with your Apple ID. This may include 
iTunes, the App Store, iCloud, and possibly other things.

3. Go to Settings -> General, and at the bottom of the screen, find the reset 
buttons, and choose the one indicating it will erase all content and settings.

4. Confirm/acknowledge all the warning dialogs that appear. This may include 
having to enter the phone's passcode (if there is one).

5. If VoiceOver is running, which I presume it is, it will eventually stop 
speaking, your phone will go through a reset procedure, then restart, 
displaying the screen all iOS devices show when they are brand-new.

6. Hand the phone to its new owner and tell them to enjoy their new phone.


Note: I did this on an older phone recently, and ran into a problem after 
having signed out of iCloud. I had to sign back in again to complete the 
process. Then I had to go to apple.com and remove that device from my account. 
Apple makes no asumption about what one does with one's own hardware, so this 
last step is on you, the user.

And what if you are not near your phone for a few minutes?  I usually am, but 
sometimes I might be typing an e-mail on my computer and I have to stop to go 
dismiss a notification because it's annoying me.  That's when it gets 
irritating.  Fortunately, I always turn on do not disturb at night, or it would 
probably wake me up doing that kind of thing.

I finally figured out pressing the home button seems to stop it, but still, 
huge drag that you have to mess with it at all.

I finally figured out pressing the home button seems to stop it, but still, 
huge drag that you have to mess with it at all.

Foldable blutooth keyboard that’s recharging

Hello everyone,
Who’s ordered the blutooth keyboard for $28 on amazon, and can tell me a bit 
about it.
I’m understanding this keyboard shuts off when you fold it closed.  But my 
biggest question is can you use it with voiceover pretty well? Or will I have a 
bit of a struggle?
Also on the note about blutooth keyboards and voiceover, another question I had 
about voiceover and blutooth keyboards anyhow.  Is there a way to do a select 
all on the IPhone like you can on a Mac PC?

They basically allow for them to stay in your ears. They have protection on 
them that keeps them in your ears. And they stay in there very well. I’m using 
them right now, and they work great.

Actually,
For the AirPods, you can get something called ear skins. They are on Amazon. If 
you search E space a space are space SKINZ you’ll find it. Sorry for the way 
that my phone spelled that. But I thought I would go ahead and spell it for 
y’all. In case you guys are interested. They work for the Apple earbuds by 
default, for the lightning earbuds, and the standard SE your buds. Just thought

Larry,
Go to settings, music, and you should see something about iCloud in there. Turn 
those options on.

It’s working great with the app switcher and everything. Thank God. They 
finally fixed that bug. The only test that I’m going to run after my battery 
finishes charging, is the battery drain stuff. Also, they fixed that messaging 
bug, where we don’t hear null anymore.

symbols, when you go to more numbers, your go to more symbols, it'll be towards 
the bottom of the screen, I can't remember exactly where, but when you click on 
more symbols, by double tapping, depending on your typing method, you will find 
plus towards the top of the screen give it a try, and if you have any trouble,

The message feature when a call comes in on the phone.

Hi all. When somebody gets a phone call, is somebody noticing that when you hit 
the message button that voiceover is lagging extremely, when you hit custom, to 
send a text message. Because I had just had a call come in a few minutes ago, 
and I sent them to voicemail and I was going to shoot them a text. To let them 
know, that I would call them later. Is anybody else noticing this bug? Kind

gmail issue with pop

Hello all,
I'm having a serious issue with my gmail and my iphone.
When I go to send mail using my gmail account, I get the following error 
message.
cannot send mail from this account, error, then an ok button.
However, I can receive mail just fine.
please let me know what's going on here?

It seems the only other option is to pay $20.00 per month for unlimited
texting.

 

I do like how easy it is to do with my iPhone 5S.

 

I'm just curious.

 

Do those of you who use AT&T find the unlimited option worth it?

iTunes Match is what you want.

You do not need to have an item downloaded to your phone in order to play
it.

NOt sure where that info came from but rest assured that iTunes Match is
meant specifically for this sort of thing.

I say stick it out a bit longer. The only annoying bug that I have found so
far, running IOS 7 on an iPhone 5, is voiceover skipping lines when swiping
through webpages in Safari, books or documents. And screen sensitivity when
trying to edit emails and text messages. The slightest touch on the screen
changes voiceovers focus. Some that this problem was solved with IOS 703,
but not for me.

volume buttons not working right

My volume down button isn't working right.

I've even tried to reset settings, turn volume buttons off in sounds, and
now I am trying to figure out what to do here.
