Venmo
Hello, I recently got a new iPhone SE3 and I’m now having trouble signing into Venmo. I really need some help so this could be lengthy. First of all it would not accept my password so I reset and created a new password. It then asked me for the one time code sent to me but I could not, for the life of me, get the edit field to accept any characters. Now no matter what password I get it will not accept it. Most recently I used the secure password option and when I use auto fill and then my thumb print I have no luck. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I sent an e-mail to tech support and received a bunch of links that are not helpful. I’m looking for any other ideas as to how to sign in. Hello, The volume through the speaker phone is fine but I think the volume is at zero through the ear speaker. Hello, I need to make an international call requiring that I place a plus sign before the number. VO tells me to press and hold the zero for the plus sign but that’s not working. Time to screen lock?
Hello, I’ve always set my auto lock to never. All of the sudden my phone locks after 30 seconds. I looked at display and brightness settings and the choice of times for auto lock is set to 30 seconds but is dimmed so I can’t change it. Can anyone tell me how to put it back to never auto lock? Hello, I’m seeing more websites that tell me that the site is A I enabled to increase my accessibility experience. What is this and what do I do with it. Hi, I took the plunge and got a refurbished series 7. I’ve listened to all the videos on Apple Vis and a good many videos on YouTube but I need access to more info. Choosing betweeen Apple Watch 7 and SE 2
Hello, I’ve finally decided that an Apple watch would be a good thing for me (with celluar service) So far I haven’t had any issues buying refurbished Apple products so I’ll do that with the watch as well. I’ve narrowed it down to a series 7 or SE2. We’re moving to Mexico and it looks like there are a couple cell companies there who support the apple Watch cellular. I’m trying to think of all the ins and outs I can but this list is good at coming up with things I haven’t thought of. Also, I have a choice between a 45 mm and 41 mm face. My fingers are an average size woman’s hand. I think I’d prefer the smaller size, would I regret that? Trouble with VoiceDream/Bookshare
Hello, Lately when I choose a bookfrom Bookshare and if it’s labeled an audio file it doesn’t load into VD and just sits in my list of books telling me that it’s not avaiable. I just downloaded the VD manual and it too is just sitting in my list of books and tells me it’s not available. I took a look at my Bookshare account and I didn’t see anything wrong there. Ah ha. Thank you. So I assume that if I have there info then I need to create a contact in my contacts. What if I know the person has a WhatsApp acct but they are not in my contacts. We are moving to Mexico and it would seem that WhatsApp is the communication of choice with businesses and individuals. Whether I like it or not I’m going to have to become more comfortable with the app. Do you know of any tutorials using VO? Honestly, I have not looked yet but I will now but I would still appreciate any help. Looking for an hourly chime app
Hello, Since the most recent IOS my hourly chime stopped working. I’ve looked at several apps in the App Store but they are more cumbersome than I need. I’m looking for an app that will play a sound on the hour every day but not in the middle of the night. The chime I used had the ability for me to choose the hours I did not want it to chime. When I enter a new credit card and then hit “done” all the info is there except the card number. However, if I hit “edit”. The number is there. I found the Beets Blu site. It’s www.beetsblu.com. Duh. I wrote to customer support and Now I’ll wait. Hello, I’ve had this scale for several years but have not used it for about a year. This morning I discovered that my app is out dated and no longer in the app store. I’ve been looking for the Beets Blu site on Google with no luck and then I discovered an app with the same name (samrt scale) in the app store but it is not accessible. So, after all of this I’m wondering if anyone else is using this scale and if so what have you done about the app issue? Hi, I’m not sure if you areasking about the Tractive tracker. You can buy the Tractive device on Amazon and it attaches to the coller. It needs to be charged every night so I’ve put it on a flat coller that she wears when she’s not working. Then you get the Tractive app from the app store and pair it with the device. IPhone se 2020 and volume
Hi, Has anyone else notice the volume spontaneously reducing to 0 on the new SE? I had this happen twice today. It isn’t a huge deal now that I know to check the volume. The first time it happened I thought the phone crashed. I am curious if anyone else is noticing this though. Assisted touch
Hello, I saw a video on AppleVis about a quick way to restart your phone w/o powering it off so thought I’d give it a try. It has to do with assigning assisted touchto the restart selection. Anyway, it pops up way too often but now I can’t get rid of it. I keep turning off assisted touch in setting, it tells me that it’s off and then there it is...back again. Getting rid of an e-mail address
Hi, My husband got rid of his domain and is only using a g mail address now. I have taken his old address out of my contacts but sometimes messages are still going to the old address so I get an undelivered message. I love my Logitech Keys to Go keyboard. I’ve had it for 4 years and taken it traveling with me without any problems. It holds a charge for at least 30 days. It weighs almost nothing, in fact it seems flimsy at first. It’s water proof except for the port and switch but the keys are water proof. The keys are near normal size but given how thin it is it took a little getting used to. I love the actio in the keys. They should pay me to promote it. powering up the iPhone?
Hello, For those who cannot see the screen, how do you know when the phone is powering up. A couple of SE questions
Hello all, On all of my other iPhones pressing the power and home buttons would reboot the phone. With this new SE it just takes a screen shot. Is there a different command to reboot other than to restart the phone? Also, Just this morning I asked SIRI to call my work voice mail. She dialed and put in the code, as normal and I had messages but the key pad was not on the screen. I went to the bottom of the screen and chose “phone” and the key pad showed up but none of the keys were active. I’ve never had this happen before. Can someone please tell me what the problem is? Hi Jenny, As you said, you are told how many words are possible to find in the word scramble. After you select the letters you want eith hit enter or do a 2 finger swipe down. You will eaither here a tone letting you know that you found a word or it will let you know that that word is not in the dictionary and you’ll have to try a different combination of letters. SE 2020 dual sim card?
First of all, I love, love, love my new phone! Given my work, which is of a personal nature, I have 2 cell phones; 1 for me and 1 for work. I don’t want clients to have my personal cell number. How does a dual sim card work? Would I know which number a call is coming in on? Would this essentually be like having 2 phones in 1? I’m using an old SEand I’m not willing to spend600, 700, $900 and up for a phone but I’m willing to consider $400 which could get me an 8 and/or the new SE. Sounds like the SE is the smarter choice. Hello, This has been an issue for awhile but I’m finally annoyed enough to ask about the solution. When I search for an item and it tells me there are a kazillion results so I startlooking through options but when I get to page 15 or so that’s the end and it is nowhere near a kazillion results.
