Anna, this should do me just fine. Thanks for the step by step directions. The older I get, the more I need them and at 66 years old, I need them! Thanks again! With the document open, choose Tools, then Share and Print. Choose the option to open the file in another app. You'll next be on a screen where you select a format. Choose the one you want. If you chose a format such as Word, a version of the file in that format is now created. The screen shows the progress of the file creation. This seems to take quite a while, or at least, it did when I tried saving a fairly short Pages document as a Word file. When the file creation process is finished, there's a Choose App button on screen. Double-tap that. You're now on a screen where you can select the app in which you want to open the file. Choose Dropbox. By default, Pages will save to your main Dropbox folder, but you can specify a folder within Dropbox if you like. Then choose Save, and your file will be saved in Dropbox. A question about Pages on the IPad
Hi there. I’ve downloaded Pages for the IPad thinking i could use it when i write protocols etc for the community i’m in, however i wonder if it’s possible to export to other formats than the native Pages format on the IPad? I know you can export to Word and such on the Mac, but can you do that on the IPad as well? If not, can someone recommend a good text editor/word processor for the IPad that can save to .rtf, word files or the like? Of course it goes without saying that the app should be accessible.
