Re: A radium question.

2013-12-04 Thread Scott Davert
Hi Steve.
It appears as though you have to have a physical radio to have those
stations work online? Which is strange, because I can listen to NFL
and NHL games on the Serius XM app itself.

Thank you all for your replies,
Scott

Nope, they don't. If you want all of those other features, you'll need
to buy something like OOTunes. Tunein has an alarm clock feature, but
last I knew it was not accessible. If Radium starts charging again,
maybe they will add support for that feature, though I doubt it. The
interface of the app doesn't really lend itself to this. It seems to
be designed to just give you the basics For free, I think it's great,
but I wouldn't have paid money for the app.

2013-12-03 Thread Mary Otten
I think this is a very good app for a first release. I do think we should be
able to move stations, and I have written a polite request to the developer for
this. It beats the heck out of that stupid XML however. And it's nice to have
all your stuff in one place if you have sky and xm and other stations you like.

Online only subscriptions will not play sporting events. You have to have a
radio active, as well as an online subscription, in order to listen to sports
online.

Hi Bob.
I've already tried NHL games, and while the feeds show up, just like
they do for NFL content, no audio will come out of the stream. Perhaps
it's a limitation of the online only subscription I have? The games,
if I can find them, will play on the Serius XM app with iOS 6, but
have not tried on iOS 7.

Re: A radium question.

2013-12-03 Thread Steve

I'm impressed. Does it have room for some extra conveniences? Sure.

But, considering that I can't get the Sirius Xm app to work with my iPhone
5S and IOS 7.0.4 (Sirius Xm tech support claims they are working on an
update to resolve that), this is the best app to solve that. It appears not
to have a time limit; carries the on-line only Sirius Xm content, doesn't
seem to have the time limits that Sirius Xm does, and plays within about
twenty seconds of the live broadcast which beats the heck out of about a
five minute lag on the SiriusXm app.

The only thing I can't do with Radium is customize the MySxm experience or
play On Demand shows.

There is no way to organize favorites into folders. But someone sent a message

I don't know what you mean by quite a few. I have about two dozen. You can
scroll through by swiping up with three fingers in the customary manner.

I have a question about radium. I have added a lot of favorites to my
station list, but they are not showing up in my favorites list. How do I
get all of my favorites to display?

A radium question.

2013-11-26 Thread Liz and Sammie
I have a question about radium. Is there a way to organize favorites into
different folders or categories, or is it just one long list of favorites?
