I like it a lot since there are gestures you can use to bring up different things, so I don't have to open a tweet if I want to retweet it or open its linked URL. Re: Accessible twitter apps
It supports streaming, so timelines are updated as soon as tweets arrive. The notifications I was talking about are push notifications. Tweetlist checks every few minutes and alerts you, but Twitterrific is always waiting, so can push an alert immediately. It also supports more than mentions and DMs - it does follows, favorites of your tweets, and retweets even where you are not mentioned. Alex, Can you explain that real time notification further? Do you mean it gives you push notifications, or that it updates the timelines of new tweets quicker than TweetList? Please explain. Re: Accessible twitter apps
Just some corrections here. Tweetlist is a great app, but twitterrific has most of the functionality you say you prefer in Tweetlist. It has separate tweets, mentions, and messages views, it *can* show everything in one list but you can turn that off, you can retweet, reply, and so on without opening a tweet, it fully supports managing lists (as of today), and it supports live streaming. Both apps cost about the same, though Twitterrific is on sale for $0.99 for a limited time, so you may just want to grab both. My only gripe with Twitterrific is that you have to open a link in the in-app browser before you can send the link to a read later service, but other than that it does everything Tweetlist does. In fact, it goes a step further, giving real-time notifications, instead of the interval-based checking Tweetlist does. Re: Accessible twitter apps
For what it's worht, TweetList put out an updated app not long ago and it is now called TweetList 4, which is version 4. This is important since it works with the newer twitterAPI's and better on iOS 7. TweetList works great if you use lists in Twitter. I like it a lot since there are gestures you can use to bring up different things, so I don't have to open a tweet if I want to retweet it or open its linked URL. Other apps may have different ways of doing this, but I like how TweetList 4 does it. I also like the different tabs at the bottom of the screen, for my home timeline, and other specific tabs just for mentions and direct messages. I would rather have these categories be in different tabs verses mixed up in one big lump.
