You don't have to be nasty to get your ideas across. The idea here is to find a solution, and in my case the fastest solution. You stated one could do all this from within Voice Dream Reader--don't change your story now. I thought I'd do the right thing and post that I was able to do all this, but you seem to have other needs. For your information, I'm experimenting to come back and help others rather than posting tiny parts of this process which results in others requesting more details. I'm essentially trying to provide the information you have neglected to post from the start. Hi all, Posting a correction... I was finally able to download a SendSpace file using Voice Dream Reader. I did it by using Safari and going directly to the SendSpace website and copying the direct file download URL, then launching VDR, then using "Add > Web browser" to download the file. I could not complete the entire process using VDR. Again, downloading from SendSpace using a desktop then placing the files in Dropbox is much easier. Using iTunes to make the transfer is fastest solution of all. ...Just checked, the Voice Dream Reader download timed out, so the VDR process failed. I just tried this and after the double tap and hold, out of the 4 or so items in the menu, there is no Copy option. For anyone wanting to save files into Voice Dream Reader, I very strongly suggest you save yourselves lots of time and frustration and simply download from SendSpace using your computer then save the files to the Dropbox folder on your desktop etc. You can then launch Voice Dream Reader and import the file from Dropbox. It is tons easier and faster as you won't have to use your iDevice to swipe, copy, move to another screen, swipe, paste, etc. As a matter of fact, if you saved the brief tutorial I posted a couple of days ago, heck, you won't even have to waste time uploading to Dropbox, you can quickly and directly copy the files into Voice Dream Reader using iTunes. As I'm an efficiency kinda guy, hope I don't upset anyone, but I feel the easiest and fastest way to accomplish a goal is always preferable. Hi, Wren, You will have to use SendSpace. It doesn't require an account. The movie vault uses SendSpace to store these movies. You will need to find the download link on the Sendspace page. I can not find the file any place. This is what I did. I first went to blind mice mart, signed in, went to the movie I wanted to download, and copied the send space link to the clip board. Then I opened voice dream reader, went to add, pasted the link into the address bar, and then downloaded the file. I got a per centage of how much was downloaded every few minutes. When it was finished downloading, I double tapped on o k. I never could find the movie in any of of my voice dream reader folders. I am using an iPhone 4 s running ios 7.1. Yes, you download from Send Space. I think I forgot a step. Turn the rotor to links and double tap on the movie title link. There is an unlabeled button that you have to double tap which is the privacy agreement. Then, on that next screen, keep flicking down until you get to the download link which will show the file name at the end of the link info. Then, double tap and hold and select copy from the pop up menu. Paste that into Voice Dream web browser. Voice Dream is the best. I always download files such as movies or TV shows with DVS from my NAS via the File Browser app and have them open in VD and don't' even bother with iTunes on my PC. For a TV series or a movie franchise, I'll zip them and import them. Voice Dream will treat every track like a chapter in an audiobook. I had no idea when I gave this a try that it would work. In fact, I suspected it wouldn't because SendSpace has such slow download speeds if you are too cheap to buy a membership, which I am. I was very pleasantly surprised. Voice Dream is one of my absolute favorite apps. Hey glad you like it, as soon as the file finishes downloading I have my downloads set to open so it immediately starts playing the file in iTunes, I stop it with the space bar go to the recently added tab in iTunes, open the contextual menu with VO shift M and go to I believe it is either called info or get info. I open that and it opens a bunch of options I go to the info tab and to the artist box and label it Blind Mice or Blind Mice T.V. Every now and then you will get those fields being dim so when that happens just create an ACC version which takes a few minutes and then for some reason those fields aren't dim anymore. I only have to do this every so often, but by labeling them all they are nice and organized in your iTunes library. The other options I also check are skip when shuffling and remember playback position for obvious reasons. Good luck. The developer seems to be called Webtechies. The app has changed its name a few times so that might account for the confusion. Try mp3 music downloader free. Re: Blind mice movie valt
Hey the easiest way to get Blind Mice Movies to your iPhone is to have an iTunes Match account. Forget how much Match costs I think it might be $20 a year, but well worth it as you will have your iTunes entire library and Blind Mice movies with you where ever you go, highly recommend it.
