Hello,

I'm following this thread and have been as my husband and I are both totally
blind and need to get an accessible machine for us around here or more him
right now. I like what I've read about the Cardio one, but he wants one that
fits the upper arm. Is there a good one for that area or are they all for the
lower arm? Thanks.

The app is fantastically accessible,
The actual device is very easy to use pretty much all the time,
Although if you move it stops measuring, or switchs off,

It’s probably 5 inchs in length and may be 2 inchs square at the end,

One end opens to have the triple a batteries in it,
Which there is a little bit of paper to stop the power connection when it’s new,

To turn it on, you unroll it and put it on your arm,
Then once the cuff is farsened closed it gives you a measure button in the app
which then starts the measuring of the blood pressure,

So the motor and sensors are in the little box and it takes a matter of a
minute if that to do the measurement

And then the app displays the measurement which I have to flick to find.

Really really easy and I believe well worth the $250 nz dollars I paid for it.

Only issue I had was the shipping time,

Seemingly shipping to Australia and NZ is having delays due to the virus

Hope that helps.

Hi All,

I'm in the market of replacing my current Reizen blood
pressure testing machine, mainly because it's almost 20 years
old and seems to be reporting irraticly.

The hose doesn't seem to have any cracks, and the hose seems
to plug in an seal sufficiently

So, I'm looking for a replacement device and would like to get
opinions of some good talking blood pressure testing machines
from all you good folks.

All input is greatly appreciated and graciously accepted.
Thanks mooy moocho.

Stay safe & take care. Mike.

RE: Blood Pressure Testing Device Opinions

2021-11-08 Thread Simon A Fogarty
Hi Janet,

Yes I finally got it 10 days ago,

RE: Blood Pressure Testing Device Opinions

2021-10-09 Thread Simon A Fogarty
Hi Mike,

I’d love to tell you abou the qardio arm blood pressure monitor I have,

But although I’ve ordered and paid for it,

It hasn’t’ yet arrived at my door,

Some globle issue with shipping thingns

But it’s the one that was recommended by many blind / visually impaired folks.

So I only hope it’s worth the wait.

Subject: Blood Pressure Testing Device Opinions

Hi All,

I'm in the market of replacing my current Reizen blood pressure testing
machine, mainly because it's almost 20 years old and seems to be reporting
irraticly.

The hose doesn't seem to have any cracks, and the hose seems to plug in an seal
sufficiently

So, I'm looking for a replacement device and would like to get opinions of some
good talking blood pressure testing machines from all you good folks.

All input is greatly appreciated and graciously accepted. Thanks mooy moocho.

Stay safe & take care. Mike.
Just once, I want a username and password prompt to say: "Close Enough!"
